I believe so, which is why the order of the goalie attys is goal - tech - pass.
i just found out tonight that passing helps goalies with pokechecks.
Yes, u r right ! That's why I refered only to GKs.
It looks like they rewrote that part of the guide to explain many of the things we already knew (like how tech helps defensemen)
Yeah, keep in mind that the guide used to list the skill table as "Primary - Secondary - Tertiary"
Somewhere along the line they made it "Primary-Secondary-Secondary" -- but the right column it's safe to say is the "third best".

if they changed it to both being secondary there must have been a reason.
Im of the opinion that which one should be higher depends on what type of game you players are playing.

i agree. i think its a personal preference, but i agree with what i think grminald meant in that they don't both need to be equal just because both are now labeled secondary
How late can I send my players to camp for it to count this season? I know I'm out of the playoffs, but I'd rather send them as late as possible.
The night before the next season starts.
I don't agree with the idea that you should never play on high during the regular season. I am in a situation where it makes plenty of sense. I promoted this season because everyone else either had no clue or no energy left. I am now in a league where everyone is much better than I am. If I didn't play 2 of my games on high, I probably would not have won them and would not be making the playoffs. I have no intention of promoting at this point because my team will just lose every game in I.1 and I'll be back down to level II in no time. At this point I'm just trying to rank as high as possible to make the playoffs and to make as much cash on my general sponsor offer next season (which is heavily influenced by the rank you're in when you finish the regular season)
Knowing that it would be bad for me to promote, it makes total sense for me to do whatever it takes to rank as close to the top as possible, even if it means playing some games on high. Now if I was making a serious push for promotion, I'd be taking the route of playing every single game on low. It all depends on your situation.

I think that's a good argument for playing on high. I don't necessarily agree with the idea of playing to intentionally not promote, but that's subject for a different discussion.
True, there are times when high importance during the regular season is needed, but for the most part, it's worth avoiding.
One more question:
A players who plays just one period will take same chemistry as one who plays all 3 periods ?
