Now that i looked at his arena, the only thing he could build on time is small with seats (300) but really not worth just for extra 50 seats.

Thanks for all the responses. I was trying to be concise but I guess I left some things out. I understand that since it would take 100 days to complete, starting now would exclude that section from calculation for media sponsorship. I've been playing the game long enough I know how to compare these factors. Basically I was more looking to see if people thought it was better to wait and get the additional (rough estimate) $200,000/week from the sponsorship offer, or to start sooner so the stand is completed sooner. The contribution to the media offer I get from the current stand size is fairly minimal. So far it seems people are leaning towards getting the best media sponsor offer no matter what.

I would ask whats the hurry? Build 2-3 stands so you can get a suite then build them up as you go. Up to you though.

building now you will lose 250 seats. if you are selling out: 100k per league/playoffs home match.
by building faster (before offer) you will be able to earn 1M per match

From my experience (not sure it happens to anyone else) a full built stadium would give you 100% of your general sponsor offer.
So you would lose about 1 to 2% of your general offer.

considering 7 matches: you earn 7M and lose 700k
considering 100M general sponsor, you lose 2M in offer

so, in short, you should gain 4M if you build now ...

but that is IF you sell out now and still sell out when completed. And also, this is a rough estimation

When you put it that way with there only being a net gain assuming I sell out the entire time, there's not going to be any gain. I'd have to build stadium accessories to begin to sell out once the next section is completed, and the cheapest one that can be built prior to the stand finishing (so it takes effect right away) is going to run me $6 million. Looks like I build after the offer. Thanks for running the numbers.

but, the benefit of having the extra 7M is only when it is completed. And that would be mid-season close to the end of next season.

You are going to promote and have more fans next season. Check how other D2 are doing as far as selling tickets.

If you sell all your current tickets plus 30% of the new TF you would not lose any money.

Sparhawks† is a dead team (pretty much last place) and last game sold 11k seats on his 16k possible.

Chances are you will sell out your arena by the time your TF finishes.

Why is it that every effing game my team stays in a 3 line rotation? I have effed with the tactics in every possible fucking way and no matter what...3 lines only baby. Pissed? YEP. cost my crap team another match.....its no wonder people dont stick around this site too long,options are limited with little to no input...much left to guessing.If i cant get this figured out by next game, gone.....nothing like planning out a strategy only to have it shot to hell because its not doing what you intended it to do. wtf.

Fitzpatrick is injured (now day-to-day). If you have play day-to-day as off and don't have any scratches in your lineup it will reduce you to 3 lines. You can see if this is going to happen via the "Next Game" page.

Do i have to have scratch positions filled? Meaning, there are several for each position,does that mean i need to fill them all or have atleast one in each position? Im soo frustrated. I had players at one point this week in those slots. and ive got players in camp, think theyll be out tomorrow. So basically if theres no scratch player it automatically reverts to a 3 line the entire game. uuuugh...thankfully ive tomorrow off. Thanks for the help. sry for the vent.

One last question...if a player is in training camp, can you remove them from camp early?

You need at least one scratched player in the position where the player is injured to avoid an auto-lineup (or 4th line removal). The other thing you can do is make sure you have tactics set to 4 lines without reducing to 3 at any point and then make sure no injured (or day to day) players are in your lineup.

Regarding training camp question: no, once they are in they are in.

If you are running a training camp that'd be why you have 3 lines... not enough players to field 4 lines + some players in your lineup are likely in said training camp.

As you start to gain more players add 2 lines to the scratches... Your top 2 lines from the B squad to A... Your bottom two lines from A squad to B squad

I always list 5 scratches at each position. Id I don't have enough right wings, then I might use the best left wings or right-handed centers to fill out the remaining spots.
