Pay them BEFORE day 112. It seems like there's a complaint every season from someone who tried to pay them on the last day of the season and couldn't. I'd do it on day 110 at the latest.
I think this is because PPM do some new season calculations before the end of day 112. They had to do this to get schedules done early so people can set tactics for game 1 in hockey.

OK, first time starting a new season. Big question: I've started to get sponsorship offers. The offers I'm getting are about five times larger than the ones I have, but my advisors are rating them one star, and the ones I have three star. Does this mean that the contracts I have were three stars when my team got them, but now they'd be junk? Or does this mean that my advisors are rubbish?
whatever amount of money you is offered - always accept by the stars, and since 5 * is maximum, 1 * is minimum, accept only 4 and 5
The 3* was based on what your team was worth last season. You've obviously improved quite a bit, so now that offer would be rubbish.
Check out this article on sponsor offers for some good advice:

Thanks for the tip XD... I was just going to link that.
I just got a guy in my academy. I have a new team.. so my training lvl is only around lvl 3. I guess long term what i do with this guy is irrelevant cause of my facilities. My question is,.. should i pull him now.. or wait till new season rolls over in 2-3days. Is there any benefit in either choice.
He will get older in Monday. Have to pull him now.
If you pull him now, you get a couple extra days of training. Unfortunately his age will increase whether you pull him now or wait til next season.
Just a friendly reminder, especially U18/U20 national teams, please post any players you have that are good, and please post them often, as that is how they are updated. Thank you!

They already added Will Rupp to the U20 team from the U18 team. Well done lads.
What happened to resizing the game-time display? I thought a response awhile back indicated that the live display for games would be resized so that it all fit on a computer screen like it used to without scrolling. Is this still happening?
Sorry for the double post, but since my last question turned out to be a real stumper, figured I'd see if I could go 2-for-2.
So I have these two defensemen who play on my fourth line together. D1 has a technique quality of 80 and Cl 6/6. D2 has a technique quality of 81 and CL 4/6. They both played in my last game and both clearly played the same number of minutes (for those who forgot you can't assign fourth-liners to PK or PP units), yet they both gained the exact same amount in technique. What gives?

Luck of the draw I'd say, training isn't set in stone so some days you will have a player train more than they did in a previous day even if everything is the same. Look at the averages over time and you will see the 6/6 player training at a higher rate.
There is a distribution about some mean for a given training. On one day a player could train at the low end and another at the high end thus meeting in the middle.
On the other hand, there is a theory that C/L is age based as well and I can believe that as my 17 4/6 guys train better (way better in most cases) than my 20 5/6 guys. So chalk it up to 50/50 between the two. Looking at training history for those attys what is the 5-day average?
