true, but it is kinda illogical that keeper that had less saves and has lost game to be a star
A dominate team with a bad goalie, vs a weak team with a good goalie.
Dominate team = more shots (almost twice as many), lower scoring %
Weak = high scoring percentage, but few shots
Exactly what I'd expect.

But goalie of other team almost doesn't exists by strength.
Teams with 5 times better goalie that this one, were nothing much than big hole for teams like your is.

But your team was too weak to get into good scoring positions so they were taking bad shots.
Even bad goalies can save bad shots.

i agree with you. but. dominate team has no goalie instead a bad goalie
save % of 70 is way too high imo

save % of 70 is way too high imo
Considering the defense in front of that "bad" goalie is better than the other teams scorers.. 7 goals off 23 shots is pretty much what i'd expect. Remember that those 23 shots would be from pretty bad spots, so there were probably only 7 - 10 legit scoring chances.
It's all about perspective.

Not the first time I read the the words "blind" and "one-legged" on these forums. You should have more respect to people with physical handicaps.
As to the match, I'm pretty sure a goalie rating of 69 versus 8 does not mean one goalie being 9 times better than the other goalie. He's just "61 points" better. It's about the same performance difference you would expect from a 161 vs 100 rating.

You hit the nail on the head re: rating.
A mistake people make is seeing numbers like 8 and 69 and thinking the larger number is X times better than the other. As we know from player ratings, that's simply not the case.
8 vs 69 could be seem as an untested AHL goalie being called up under emergency conditions to play in the NHL with a goalie like Luongo at the other end.
