I think that a large number of people want only one form of energy. And all leagues have issues with sending their players to the Olympics and energy used during that.
You argument against realism is just bollocks. It makes absolutely no sense. "You can't also compare NHL with any PPM league. It's not realistic.
Huge disparity like between NHL and SLO hockey league shouldn't exist in PPM at all. Differences between I leagues in PPM should be smaller of course, therefore we can't draw parallels between reality and PPM."
What do you mean by that?
This argument is moot anyways.
We both are just on opposite sides of the issue.

Take Serbian I league and take Canadian I league for instance. Our league is stronger than yours although you have almost twice more users than we have. Serbia has 5 teams which can have team strength over 150 ! Serbia and Brazil have more OTR points in their I league than Czech, Latvia, Hungary... although their number of teams is 4,5 even 20 times smaller than in those countries. Some Norwegian I league clubs could fight against Czech clubs even though they have 100 times less clubs in this game. A club from Lithuania is strongest here, even though Lithuania has only 200 clubs... And that is good, because this game supposed to have many users from many countries, who could compete in CWC or CL with equal chances taking the trophy. In RL NHL is so strong league that nothing can come close to them. Now imagine some Serbian hockey club beating Boston Bruins....never, not even in a 1000 years.
As a manager game, PPM is supposed to give everybody the same chance to succeed. In RL you don't have that. So you can't just compare those 2 things.

The main reason why NHL doesnt want their players going to the Olympics are the injuries. Imagine Crosby would get a season long injury again. The other reason is the lack of income for two weeks.
In two weeks the players who take part on olympics "loose" not much more energy than if they would play NHL. The most NHL-Players will stay at home and "win" energy.
The comparison NHL with PPM is ridiculous. Its just used to explain some things on PPM, like the game results.

the points around NT energy really comes down to:
Some NT managers were pressuring people to use less energy in the league than they wanted to.
The only thing wrong with this is the way its done. If someone is being abusive or threatening then they shouldnt have been NT manager. I dont see any issue with asking people to use less energy. They also shouldnt expect it - people are entitled to try and win their leagues including playing of vhigh.
It is up to the manager to choose how to use their players and up to the NT manager to pick the best ones for the WC (taking into consideration what energy they will have).
Now part of the challenge has been taken away. I guess we see how it goes.
From my point of view all it does it stop people being harrassed by the NT manager.

It's not classic harrassement, it was more like "your player won't be in NT" whether they say it out loud or not. So, some managers evolved and they talked in riddles, not being prepared to promise anything. Also those who promised something, couldn't have competitive club that season. Sometimes NT managers felt like they were tricked, stabbed in the back, by nursing energy loser whole season. They just couldn't eject all "suspicious" players.
I agree with everything you are saying Cav, but i doubt the change will get rolled back.
How does this energy change make things more even in terms of the WC? It does absolutely nothing to level the playing field, it just detracts from the role of the NT Manager.
As for NT managers who were pressuring the players to play with lower energy, they should speak up and not elect that manager next season. As for any owner who would sacrifice their season for the NT, that is their own fault and ultimately their own decision.
I also think that players should get a 'bade' or 'trophy' for being a NT Manager, and one based on the results.

Energy loss in WCC would be bigger than in regular games, so after every game NT manager will have to calculate, especially if some line spent more min on ice than others. There's the challenge for NT manager. It's maybe not best possible solution, but we will see the outcome.
In terms of WCC that old situation wasn't perfect either. Some NTs would have really bad players to start with, while some others would have NT full of energy. It wasn't fair if you ask me. Reasons for big energy: cheating in games or one team having loads of NT players and playing VLow. Both things give one NT much of headstart.
If we speak of patriotism, no one will step up rattling his NT manager because he wanted for NT to perform well in WCC.

Well you NT would always beat mine even if you players had really low energy so i dont see the issue.

I have a staff member Tomass Audiņš an i tryed to add him to the market and i have received this answer : "You cannot place this staff member on the market because he will retire in less than 11 days. "
And now the question: A staff member can retire at 56 age?
And now the question: A staff member can retire at 56 age?
I think his contract expires in one day.
Sign a new contract then sell him.
Anyway, that message is confusing.

What will happen if the staff member has just 1 more day of his contract, and the owner puts him on TL but in same time he doesn't renew staff member's contract ?
