I would add to this the option to change general and special teams tactics in between periods akin to changing intensity, number of lines or goalies.
Ideally score, shots on goal (differential, if possible), and percentage of play controlled would be the triggers to change.

Oh I like changing tactic between periods! That'd make it interesting. If you're losing 3-0 after the first playing defensive, chances are your opponent is playing normal, so you could set it up to go breaking for the 2nd period. Hmmmm. I LIKE!
tactics per line and line matching both sound awesome. don't think it'll happen in a while though ):
I can see this getting implemented. You can change from long ball to possession in soccer. Not sure why you can go from offensive to defensive in hockey.
It would be very cheesy to lose because of a tactics change after being up 3-0. What would be even worse, is if they make a come back without sacrificing more energy.
That doesn't happen in real life? How many times are teams down after the first, coach rips them a new on during the intermission then they are a new team for the next 40min?
I think you should get an income for your parking spots. Teams in real life if they build their own parkades will get revenue for it, so the same should be in this game. Since each level of parking is 500 parking spots (in hockey) and 2000 parking spots (in soccer), you should get revenue for every 4th spectator, assuming not everyone can drive. If you already have souvenir money and concession money, it shouldn't be too hard to add parking money.
I like that idea. But in real life, I don't think parking $ goes to the team, more to people who own the lots surrounding the facility.
IMO teams play with more or less morale, "importance" (in the case of this game), and confidence between periods.
Coaches rip into their players for not making the right decisions, they don't rip into them for sticking to the game plans (and you dont change the game plan).
Teams do make adjustments, so i'd be ok with a PP or PK tactics change between periods. Maybe base it on the PP or PK percentage after a period or somthing.

Ya, my logic around it is that we are paying to build the lots, so we should also be owning those lots you would think.
Going further, maybe you can keep the lots free and still get the same attendance, or set prices on the parking lots, and if you set too high, people don't show up. That's taking it a little too far though, but could be cool.

I HATE the idea of fiddling with prices to get the "perfect ratio"
It is just annoying and a boring hassle.
I don't understand why people think it is fun to change the ticket/parking cost every day.

Ya I know, it was just an idea that popped in my head while I was typing, stream of consciousness. Anyways even though that's an idea that will never happen, I still think getting revenue from parking could be looked into.
