oh darn. I forgot to mention that in the news. It is an intended change. see guide updates
From guide updates, "Only if you lose in regulation, the overall team rating doesn't increase. The exceptions are the international cups where the rating rises even if you lose. The increase of the overall team rating is higher, if a team makes a good result against a strong opponent."

This is a big change for some of us, in a bad way

I must agree. I play 2x high in qualification just because big OTR progress. But now I think that I made wrong decision.
edit: Now teams who played last 2 season Cl or CWC have big advantage in OTR, because they got UTR for losing...

I also detected this today. I can't understand why there is no systematic between hockey and soccer. every sport seems tohave his own rules, also if there is no sense to do it in different way. I'm wondering about this.
A guy from Croatia built in Vip seats and he gets 3-5M per season for that.. it's almost not worth it

Arent the international cups the CWC and CL? Thus the otr rises even if you lose?

ok, thanks that we know it now...
btw: it's already a week ago and there is no solution about the missing money from 2nd qualification game in international cups...

indeed. Mike only fixed the champions league and forgot about CWC. And he didnt fix champions league properly either. I will tell him to fix it.
I messed the guide updates too. I put the old version there. Fixed
could you tell us the reason why you decided to stop giving OTR points in case of loss? and will this also come in hockey?
I think the reason was that there were quite a lot of weak teams from weak countries getting free OTR points. I think the change will be applied in hockey from the next season.
Thanks. I'm a bit disappointed about that because I guess I never had played high in qualification if I knewed that. then I focussed to the league. so now I lost almost 4% in energy...
but I don't know if this change makes sense. I liked the fact that in this way a qualified team get's a bonus for qualification. now it's maybe nothing for a team from a weaker league... :o(

per season.. damn.. that's not much. Oh well, can't change it back now.
I build it because I simply need to find ways to keep up with the teams in the first league and especially those that play internationally. I'm already quite a bit behind, even though I use up all training spots in order to make money from sales.
I guess the only thing I haven't done so far is selling my top players.. but perhaps I should think about doing that in order to keep up. Getting 5 mil less each week is a killer...

I don't know if it's smart, but I try to spend the same amount of money on stadium as I do with facilities.
The bigger the stadium you have, the more you can make on ticket sales and it brings in more money from the media sponsors.
I can mostly speak from hockey experience, but I feel it pays of in the long run. A skybox (in soccer VIP lounge) does not give a huge amount of money at the start, but if I am not mistaken, it generates more and more money every season.
