Good win today over Belarus.
They beat us both times last season in group play, so getting such a decisive win over them is always a good sign.

Good job, but dont let this confuse you. Last season we won almost all of the friendlies before WCQ.
Okay guys... As I mentioned before, I'm hoping for some help scouting some of our main competition this year.
If we have an idea what their rosters look like, it can be a huge help with planning our lineup and tactics.
Please help out if you are able. Players are listed below in order of preference. SO PLEASE SCOUT DOWN FROM THE TOP OF EACH TEAM'S LIST.
---------------
Czech Republic.
---------------
These guys are kind of all over the place. I've grouped players in order of scouting preference.
The top group (1-6) have all played in the last 4 games (2 competitive games last season, and 2 friendlies this season).
1. Off CB Stanislav Cepák
2. Off LB Vladislav Hladůvka
3. Off PV Filip Řeháček
4. Off RW Jaroslav Pižl
5. Def CB/RB Andreas Bašus
6. Def PV Valentýn Kudrna
The next group of guys have played in some of the last 4 games, or are highly ranked players. These are guys I think will play at some point, but I'm not as confident that they'll be playing all the time.
7. Highest OR on team, Not yet used in-game Václav Nešpor
8. Off RB Zdeněk Řezník
9. Off RB/RW? Valentýn Strom
10. Def CB/RB David Pustějovský
11. Def LB Vít Salač
12. Off LW Leo Lipka
13. Def RW Michal Oliva
14. Def LB Pavel Šrámek
15. Off LW Miloslav Meduna
16. Def LW/RW Jakub Kryl
---------------
Portugal.
---------------
Portugal is pretty consistent with who they play. I'm pretty confident that if we have the below guys scouted, we'll have pretty much their entire starting roster.
1. Off CB Marcelo Pacheco
2. Off RB Aparício Pinto
3. Off LB José Lousada
4. Def RB Manuel Madeira
5. Def LB Leonel Lemos
6. Def CB Paulo Prado
7. Off LW Arménio Loureiro
8. Off RW Roberto Reis
9. Def LW Fabrício Saldanha
10. Def RW Bruno Travassos
11. Off PV Jaime Teixeira
12. Def PV Arménio Ferreira

if you are going to scout someone, post in here who you will be scouting so we don't wast scouting on the same player.
I can get #1-4 of Czech republic. I have 67% daily so I can get 2 guys every 3 days. 6 days for all 4.
Damn. I really wanted to win that game today. Poland is the top ranked team in the world right now. That one would've been a nice notch in the belt (even though it was only a friendly).
We were winning at the half too and I switched tactics away (ARG!!!). I figured if they were losing by 3 or more, that they might go a little bit more aggressive (hence the change to wing shooting).
Oh well. It's good that it was a pretty even match. That bodes well for our competitive games this season.
-----
All things considered, I'm actually pretty happy with the game today. We had a ton of fast breaks against us, but that's kind of Poland's M.O. We stopped 1/3 of them, which is definitely pretty good.
Our goalies preformed pretty well, and we beat them in assists and TO's, which are two stats that are often highly correlated with winning.
Next time...

Also, I wanted to thank everyone who has volunteered to help with scouting so far. It's greatly appreciated.

We blew the lead but it was a good practice.
Kemp has established as a solid center back: a position I wasn't happy with last season.
I was also happy with my experiment playing Kevin Hall at defensive center back. He had 2 blocks and 2 steals.
Also Jeff Rice is training more shooting and it looks like it is paying off. he had 5 goals in 5 shots today. He is currently our wort starting shooter.
Portugal and Turkey are yet to win a friendly this season.
Iran won today for their second win of the season
Czech won today the first match of the season.
Our opponents are struggling to find their best line/tactics.

I think that Hatcher is asking for a place in NT. I mean who should deserve the spot than the best player of our highest league? I mean it is actually really silly that he isnt there right now.
