Not so much right now, but it is something I will be training them on, to at least 1/4 - 1/3 of Offence.
I train either Passing or shooting on my wingers. They have to have decent q in one or the other. Then I try to pair up a passing winger with a shooting winger on a line.
Gotcha - I have a few guys who can "do it all" but I try to train shooting to a moderate amount even if they don't have great Q's in it.
Yeah, i kind of figure all 3 players can't shoot it at the same time, so i try to distribute a bit. My centers have good passing obviously, but some can shoot well. So i try to mix it up so that i have a combination of 2 good passers and 2 good shooters on a line in some way, either a wing that can shoot and pass with a wing that can shoot, or a center that can shoot with only a wing who can pass and a wing that can shoot, etc
Great move
I tend to think of my team like I would any real hockey team. Your 5 skaters all need to be skilled, and passing is as important to a winger as it is a defender or playmaking center.

Good one !
'passing is as important to a winger as it is a defender or playmaking center'
What if all this secondary attributes, except shooting, are important, in a same percentage, for all players ? If nothing in guide is state about technique for defenders (except atty section
), why passing shouldn't be important for wingers, or agr for centers ?

Well it does make perfect sense for them all to be equal, or at least close to it. Sure, defenders don't need shooting "as much" as wingers, but shooting IS still important. So yes, that is very plausible.
How many of you will train like this ?
I will certainly not, at least for the momment ...
I have my reasons ! Doesn't worth !

well, if all secondary attributes had the same importance for all positions, what difference would be between centers and wingers? just shooting?
and agr for goalies? i doubt it can have any influence.

Shooting, correct !
Just one question for you my friend (
):
What is the ratio between technique and agr for your defenders ?

I love this conversation, but I really need to go. I will answer for you. As many other managers, probably
you have technique=agr.
I could ask 'why's that if the guide says that for defenders you need only passing and agr ?'
But, in guide there is another statement:
Technique:It helps the defensemen win these battles thanks to good stickhandling and speed and decrease the number of penalties.
(this is the reason, right ?)
Same for forwards:
Passing: For the skaters it represents the ability to make proper passes and to create chances with good puck movement and playmaking. Passing, among other things, also helps the players on the powerplay to create scoring chances thanks to quick and sharp puck movement.
Aggressiveness:This attribute also represents the forechecking ability of players.

I try 1/1, but of course there are some differences. examples: 70/73 68/68 71/70. ok, now I go to play table tennis, see you later. Good luck everyone in National Cup matches. very difficult matches tonight
