Why? I couldn't play the game without pro pack... i rely on the extra features too much.

For starters why not do an interview with Tuttle/Vlady on this subject for PPM Magazine?

Showcase the difference in sponsorship income for teams, using multiple examples such as the one from erictheeel and yourself. Is PPM aware of this? Did they foresee this, are they fine with this? Suggest the longterm effects such as users quiting the game in frustration and if that would make PPM reconsider.

Bring up the fact that teams are intentionally relegating to lower leagues while others throw promotion games to stay down. Ask a few of those managers about their motives and long term plan (i.e. when do they intend to move back up?) Again, what is PPM's view on this? Is it a problem that needs fixing or working as intended?

Throw some suggestions at them such as weighing wins differently by division, reducing the impact of OTR on the sponsor deals while increasing division factor and get their view.

That way you get both sides of the argument in a coherent article rather than being spread over various forums/threads. The article can serve as the basis for users to rally around while giving PPM a chance to gauge response to the situation and offered suggestions.

Ok guys, you have to focus on differences between teams which could become more vivid than before, if this suggestinon comes to life. You just have to see the big picture.
There are a lot teams in II leagues which will suffer by reducing more OTR than it is now. If they reduce it, teams from league I will be even more rich (that's approx 10 teams), but teams from II league (10x4 and from III leagues 16x10...) will never be able to catch them. National Cup will become I league playground. So no international games for others.
Maybe OTR from playing in international cup should be reduced a bit.
And there is another thing that is also important - influence of goalies in game. If there is less of that influence clubs should be good on each and every departement, and therefore have to pay more money in building facilities which are extremly expensive after 12th level.

Actually, if you can't win OTR points for losing in international cups or OTR for losing is greatly reduced, that will force teams to fight harder for each game. More energy involved - that means less energy in league which will make them vulnerable to others.

On the Goalkeeper point you raised, I couldn't agree with you more!!

Yes, GK's are vital to a successful hockey team, but at the moment they make such a huge difference that it just doesn't seem right.

1 player should NOT make a great team, and should not be a replacement for hard work on building your club.

I disagree. A goalie can win games. Plain and simple. Halak did it. Every year a goalie stands on his head and carries his team far into the playoffs.

I agree with Canucks, goalies are only 1 player but they can absolutely steal games. And that's the way it should be.

Yes Canucks, but there are times when it is good for the game not to mimic real life.

Why? I don't see a compelling reason for goalies to "not" be good. They allow teams who have a less quality team to compete, and they allow good teams to dominate. So why not have good goalies?

As I said, GK's are vital to a hockey teams success...

My team were stronger, I played the correct tactic, yet got slaughtered!! It's not sour grapes however, I'm simply at aloss to explain how I was so badly beaten... well, I know the GK had a huge say in it...

After this game, I was beaten a further 3 times by this same team in the 2nd league game, and 2 PO games.

Each one, his GK stole the show.
And in the league the keeper helped the team finish really high up.

I personally find it not right that 1 player can make such a huge difference!

Tell me how a team that is not good can have a goalie with 180-90-90 in skills ? I never seen it.
