btw...my general sponsor offer was 66 mill...about double last season, but VERY paltry considering what some others seem to be getting. there needs to be an open explanation from the devs on why the offers are so disparate.

Compared to who? I don't know what your OTR was, but you also have to consider marketing, your finished 8th place, etc etc. No one is going to have the same offer, which factors are you including in your comparison?

Or is this just a wild "Well, this other guy got this much" comparison

Yep, makes no sense. I came 14th in the regular season in S4 and had a great playoff run to get up to 11th.

Here are my stats from Season 4:
15 wins, 18 losses, 4 draws and 1 OTL.
103 GF
94 GA
18.48% on the PP
80.85% on the PK
11.44% Shooting (1087 shots)

Cav, if you have any suggestion for my team i'm all ears. I'll even send you screen caps of all my players attys / quals and current line setup if you want. I need to do something because i can tell right now, my team is not looking very good for season 5.

Doesn't help of course that PPM gave 4 people with good OTR free spots here that pushed the Div average up.

Yes, but it also has a role to play in your team strength. Having the third lowest OTR means that there are 17 teams with stronger teams than me.

High prize money is only good if you finish in the top 8. Like all things with PPM, the game seriously favours the top players. That's why it's becoming quite common to lose on purpose and drop down a division to ensure more wins, higher OTR gains and better prize money. Afterall, top teams in Div 2 make more sponsor dosh than mediocre teams in Div 1 (at least, that's how it was last i looked).

I've actually never heard that OTR has an impact on team strength, if that is what you mean. Also if they were sent up from div 3 their team strength might not be as good as you expect.

I agree with the other thing you said about that top teams in div 2 should never get more sponsor money than a team around 14-15th place in div 1. That's why alot of ppl purposely ends up on 2nd place and that kinda ruins the main thought of the game. To get to the top league and compete against the best teams.

I apologise, i was wrong about team strength. I was thinking of OTR having a large affect on sponsorship offers.

when team OTR will be reduced for tjat 20 or 25%?
