Why do this game allow daytraders? Dosent the devs want a manager game or what? Just boring to see that to be succesful in this game you need 70 players and 40 employes to just earn you money..

Make it a manager game instead of trading game!

Oh, the good old day traders discussion.. always liked this topic.
Unfortunately the problem excists and gives some teams a big advantage now. But the devs don't like the idea of regulating the market, I guess.

I was just thinking.. what if every player would have to be scouted first to see his skills even if he's on the market? Newbies don't have the facilities to scout quickly, so they more likely buy players who have good season statistics (which are trained well), and would stay away from the market in the beginning in general.. and invest their money more wisely.

you also don't have to buy from players you think are "day trading" The problem lies just as much on the buyers being willing to pay the prices as it is on the sellers.

true, but most of them are newbies (who buy 1 atty-players)

Its easy to stop them, just make it not worth it, say if you own more then 40players or so, you have to pay 99% tax on the profits for those players. So if I buy 50 players, all for 100k, then when I have 40+ players I sell one of these for 1M, 900k in profits I just get my 100k back +1% profit of 900k.

that would only affect daytraders nobody with a normal team. Just boring to see ppl like formiga10 (GLADIATORES) be rank1 just becuse he plays a trading game instead of a manager game..

pushing daytraders back should be linked to the transfers themselves somehow, I have + 40 players as well and I'm most certainly no daytrader!

Whats the point of having more than 40 players other than to sell them?

Train them ?
I have several players from which I have to choose who will play next season. Some of them will go to 4/6 some will stay on 6/6....you know how it goes.

euhm, selling is normal part as well you know, you get a couple of players each 2 weeks, I want to see how they train, and if they train rather good (not superb) I keep em and sell them yes.

Some will make the first team... so training !

but the definition of a daytrader is buying players to resell them more expensively, I don't do that (will do, not as much as others too, if I can't keep up)

so don't count people who have 40+ players as daytraders, they need to keep up too you know, regular buying-selling is normal to any manager, but daytrading isn't, keep those 2 separated please!

Daytraders have 60 or 70 players. They should be stoned until they admit !
It's just a tactic for me.

Yeah of course but I don't see the point in having that many players just to train them, unless all of them got a great quality

I'm very indecisive.
Those who are lucky are having first two lines on which they could depend on in next 2 seasons, or three.
So, there are 10 more vacant places, and if you have 2 left defenders, 2 right defenders, and so on... get it ?

Yeah I do, I still don't think that many players are needed, but that is just my opinion :>
