it is much more unbalanced if u take the fact that teams play with 6 defenders and 9 atackers or 8 defenders and 12 atackers
I know taliban, trying to prove your point as well.
the fouls are quite unbalanced if you ask me, attackers get too few fouls against

Here is my opinion:
About the SA i totally agree it needs to be improved. When my SA was in level 4/5 I picked up really good players, and they are the top players of my team now.
But the more I improved it, the worse players got. Im now in level 10 and the juniors I get are all rubish.
If I invest in it I should be rewarded somehow.
About the tactics... The problem is that the teams train their players in different ways. Some train technic, other agressivity, some trains only the mais skills, .........
And accordingly to each team (and their player), there are better suited tactics. And the counter tactic can be avoided. But we really don't know what kind of players our opponents have. And so... surprises happen more often.
That's something that would eventually happen. It's not a bad thing. It's just different.
Since the players are not as balanced and similar as in the begining of the game, we now have to adapt our tactics. It's just that.
About the penalties... I do agree the gap between defenders and attacker is to high.

actually there should be something wrong with penalties or tech-aggr ratio, because I have 2 defenders whose have tech 1/2 of aggr and have only 10 PIMs and a winger with tech/aggr - 44/40 and have 12 minutes...
Of course, some of my defs have more PIMs, but they have approximately same tech/aggr ration than those with 10 PIMs, why there's so big difference?
I think penalties are more random than tech-aggr

About youth pulls, you cannnot think that if you haven´t got anything yet, you are likely to get something in the future. It SHOULD be this way, but now you have the same chance every time. If you haven´t got anything, you have EXCACTLY the same chance to get something that someone who have pulled like 20 great players already. This is the problem. You may end with 0 star players as some other will pull 40. How is this fair? Yes, you had the same chance in the beginning, but you just were unlucky. Unlucky. The word/thing that shouldn´t play this big role in the MANAGEMENT game.
The reason you grow your SA is to get more pulls, your odds of landing the superstud are now 4/136171471317 instead of 1/136171471317 etc, it's not that if you build a better SA you'll get amazing super talented players every pull, you just increase your odds.
Wish it was that simple/obvious.
Anyway. I would like somebody from devs to say where do their thoughts go, what aspect of the PPM hockey game will be changed and when. We have strong appreciation to this game and lots of its parts, we know that nothing is perfect so thats why all this talk is right now. Wish that no one would take these remarks personally.

I don't see how it's not - you don't see the same teams getting ultra powerful players every week - from what I see there is a relation to what skill your SA guys are to your teams avg player skill, and the random factor is their qualities. I see teams pull higher OR guys than me consistently but the team is a higher level team with higher avg's, but I don't see them pulling any different Q's than I do. I think it's still luck of the draw.
If it were a game engine issue, EVERY team would have that anomoly. They don't.
My team has every single player with tec higher than aggression, and my PIM per player on my team is 5. That's all... i have 3 guys over 15 PIMS i believe, the rest have next to nothing.

Well first thing is that a lot of people been saying how they pulled the best of SA with 5th level (including me). Then in my case there was that 9th level that brought me some decent players, and after that - nothing. I hear all the time from people with 10th and 11th level how bad they pulled.
I'm not sure about that.
At least in Portugal, from what I've seen, best players go every weak to the same teams. And mine is not one of them
I really would like to know how this works. Is it about the time of pulling? The quality of SA (as it should be)? Just luck as you say?

Why "should" they have to name it a third secondary attribute?
There are a LOT OF US who think of it as a third, and we train our guys that way, and shock... we DO NOT have the same problem you do.
This is a MANAGER game... it's not supposed to be all written out in a guide. For the love of the gods, be a manager and train your team rather than moaning about the developers.

I think that the reason the 5th level was so good was that your players / pulls were at a ratio where the high end pulls were better than the high end players, in the 200's which is where the average pulls seem to be ending up. But as the game progresses the "youth" will be a lower OR to the advanced players with extreme exceptions (Crosby, Tavares, etc) and will need "years" to get their skill level up. I am sure that the dev's are struggling with this but you can't always have your absolute best players coming from the SA or there would be no point in setting up training etc, just sell and buy.
I understand that this is what the complain is about to begin with but the dev's have to keep a careful eye on the overall balance and have to make things work out a bit more - if the few are whining that they're not getting a fair shake, but the majority is quiet, what would you do as a leader?

I come out with the general feeling from ex YU forums.
It's not only about overall rating, but also about qualities...I have pulled only 1 guy that have average quality over 70 (hi has 79) and he is the best so far, from my team, I don't remember at which level I pulled him, but it's 4 or 5
From current level (8) the best one is 66...
