Assunto: Draft

I found 1 A, 10 B's, 1 D, and the rest are C's. I hope that some of the B's I scouted somehow make it to the end of the first round. Hopefully nobody else found the same A as me, though I expect him to be gone within a few picks.

With 5min until the draft refresh your draft page. It will change formatting and will include a live chat at the bottom of the page. When it your pick you will hear the same bell as the 1min warning on the market and you'll have an option to "draft" each player.

All drafted players will have their names appear on a pane on the right of the screen. Hovering over them will indicate all information INCLUDING their potential even if you don't have them scouted. I'm not sure if this is the "real" or "perceived" potential.

Teams not online will take 10s to pick. However, in the draft I witnessed this morning this varied from 10-30s (with the opening pick taking 60s).

Just thought I would update everyone. The issues with server loads during the European draft I have been assured won't be an issue for ours tonight.

damn, if i am going to see potential perceived or not from players i didnt scout it will make much more complex to draft without pre selecting order. I hope my excel and I can figure it out quick the best approach

So you can see information for players that other teams drafted?

Looking for some input here. I've got the 1st overall pick and only 8 scouted "B" players. 7 of which are 6/6 CL.

Should I go with a 6/6 CL goalie or should I go for a 6/6 CL universal W with the top pick? There's only two goalies in my draft, and the other is a "C" player.

I feel as though decent goalies are much harder to find than field players, and I'm actually reasonably ok on offense (if that U had been a defender, it'd be a different story).

Thoughts?

Go with what you need. Good goalies are worth more on the market too.

yeah... that's why i was asking. my need is pretty much the same for both. But I would like to find a stud goalie at some point.

I really would've liked to have gotten a good U defender, but I think there will still be one or 2 of the "B" rated, single-handed defenders left by my second pick.

I kind of don't want to risk losing the goalie to one of my competitors.

id go to the goalie hands down. you could sell and make more or prevent to spent tons to get a good one.

Cool. 2 votes for goalie, and that's pretty much the way I was leaning. Sounds good to me.

Hopefully he's only "B" potential because his AQ has taken a hit from low SHO, OFF, and DEF stats and he's actually an A+ in disguise. haha.

So if you're planning on being online anyway, what's the point of scouting anyone?

So you know which players to pick?

The ones that are shown to you are the "DRAFTED" players. Ie the ones who have already been selected by your or other teams.
