I guess Iran had some extra motivation against a US team. Didn't expect to lose 3-2 in CWC. Will have to tweak match importance next time.
It looks like I managed a win, though I gave up a goal that could be costly in terms of the tiebreaker in the last few minutes.
Away goals are more important anyway. You can even lose 0-1 and will still advance.
great .. one of the few matches i played on high intensity.. my goalie get hurts last night and i didnt check till now to realize ppm placed a crap goalie in his place!!
That's crazy. Almost got eliminated by a weak opponent. No more "energy saver" mode.

Of course he's "The Truck"! Not sure I want to spend the credits to make it official, but we'll see. Mostly, I'm just glad he's a foreign player with a name I can easily pronounce.
Now I just have to "ruin" him by making him an SF, which almost no one else uses. Hopefully, that will keep his free agent costs down. Speaking of which, I took a bit of risk buying him, so I hope I can earn enough cash to keep re-signing the important guys.

Well the 5th minute red card of my best player gave me a problem but the guys were able to score a crucial away goal and finish the match 1-1. Still happy with the result. 
Although I've largely been neglecting scouting for the next soccer draft, it seems that I've found an A+.
I tried to lose today so I could try for a potentially easier matchup against league II.1 and perhaps get a better draft pick by making my fourth string forward my goaltender. As a result, I won 6-0 today.
