Ugh. I forget to deal with my lineup one day (Superbowl Sunday, no less) and it just happens to be one of the most important games of the season. Never gonna catch Corona if I can't even beat them at home.
LOL. Just tried to sell 5 draftees that were said to be Bs and 3 SA guys that were 4 stars. Not even 1 10,000 bid anywhere. 301 to 450 ORs 15 or 16 yrs old 6/6. I sure can pick them.
soccer and hockey are very well established games. top managers wont even pull 3.5 stars. some will only pull 4 stars if very high OR.
450 OR isnt bad for a 15yo. For 16yo is bad.

The market is definitely pretty bad for newer teams, especially in soccer and hockey.
With that said, you could actually consider stocking up on more 400-500 OR 15 year olds with decent qualities to train them (especially if you build your training facility a bit).
I purchased this player (Jaronimas Bakša ) for 10,000 and sold him for 3,150,000. While I have better facilities at the moment, there is a market for cheap players with high OR among the newer teams. In hockey and soccer, non-elite decent players that I trained until they were 17-18 sold for a profit, even though those players were worthless as 15 year olds. I think I still managed to do this when I only had a level ~11 training facility while focusing on my arena in hockey.

I suspect more and more "rich" teams are coming to the same conclusion I have, that gambling on youth is a waste of money. It doesn't matter how good their qualities are, if their CL drops quickly, they are useless to us, and there's no way to predict CL drops.
Better to save money and spend it all on guys in their early 20s who've proven they will keep their CL up and be ready to slot into the starting lineup much sooner than a 15 yr old. Any extra lineup space that doesn't invoke fees can be used on the best prospects from your own academy, either to potentially use or just train and then sell when you need the space.

so pretty much "poor" teams have to build up TF to level 15, SA to level 15, hope they pull 16 high quality players, train them all and hope one or two made to 20yo with good CL so they can be sold ..
be sold for how much???
be sold for how much???
note: i poor team has to get some "donation" to be able to build to those levels and still will take a long while.
So .. fact is ... eventually there will be no good young players cause nobody will be pulling them to be trained if every "rich" team follows your logic. So the ones that did pull to train will have a great edge.

this is by far the best National Cup season for my team, but unless I face Firestorm qualifying to Last 16 is the end of the road. And even against Firestorm I dont have much chances, but at least id have some chance.
Qualifying to this stage of NC was my season goal so now I can focus on league.

With one more win, you would have a chance at the Cup Winners' Cup. I managed to finish 4th in last season's Cup Winners' Cup with a relatively mediocre team and a lot of luck.
yeah, but the only chance is to face and beat you. against anyone else id need a lot of luck
Wow, Phenomenom knocked out the Coronas!? Big win, KP!
When's the last time divoch was out of the NC so early?

Wow, I really screwed up my Champion's League game - put my backup CF in goal instead of the goalie, probably because the flags by their names are the same.
Sad day, but at least I have the NC finals to look forward to, for the first time in quite a while.

Actually, I think newer teams benefit atm. You can buy a team of very old, high-OR guys for relatively cheap. This allows you to compete at high levels (rather thank lowest division levels) while you develop your facilities. Back when I joined, in season 4, high OR players, even old ones, were expensive as hell, while it was also too late after season 1 to catch up to the top teams.
What I'm saying, basically, is that as top teams develop their 4+ * and A players, high OR players with little room for improvement have become far cheaper than I expected. An example of this is tescosamoa, who joined in season 9 and has a competitive team bc of his entirely 28y/o+ roster. This isn't sustainable in the long-run, but I'd have enjoyed to have such a team when I started
