Looking back on the draft, there were a lot of players that were better than the guy I picked 1st overall. He might have great AvQ (I haven't seen them yet) but he's about 100-150 OR points behind a lot of players picked in the first round.

So that leads me to believe, that a B player in league 1.1 is a pretty good pick. You can't go wrong in the first round of the draft.

395 and AQ i see as 79%. Not bad, but i would expect more from an A+.

I know it's only two games into the season, but that's a rather unexpected 22nd place...

I just noticed that I'm somehow in the cup winner's cup. I guess that it is due to making the quarterfinals of last season's national cup? It seems that I have a good chance of advancing from my division.

Luckily, I played a dead team in the first game. I think I am going to expend energy to try to do well since I am probably going to end up in the relegation zone in the league anyway (though I've done well so far this season, only losing by one goal to 1.FC Corona's B team).

I am in the CWC too. Hope to advance do to 2 dead teams in my division.

Wow. Big win for the Boilermakers over the Coronas. After a rough start for Obryantj, I'm surprised that divoch only played on Normal. If I were in the same situation, I would have bumped it up to High to try to bury my main competition. Now the B'makers are right back in it. Any regrets, divoch?

Draft was created to be a money making for ppm. Anyone thinking it was to help managers in any ways is living in a dream

Oh, I agree that there's still a lot of season left. I just thought that you would have wanted to bury him now. If you win, you would have been up 9 points. I don't think he could have come back from that.

Now he's only 3 points back and anything can happen.

I'm not sure what this has to do with anything that we're talking about, but I'll bite

The draft was not created just to make money. It was created because so many users wanted a draft. People have been asking for it probably since before hockey launched. PPM finally figured out a way to make it work. Yes, they monetized it a bit. Who cares? They need to make money to keep the game running. Maybe they went overboard in the beginning, but it's been toned down. It's now more inline with the other plus pack choices.

It has also helped me. Not a lot. And maybe my sports academy would have provided similar players if there wasn't a draft. But I have gotten some pretty good players so far. And it's kinda fun in the draft room chatting with the guys for a bit.
