I completly understand why you played the way you did. Im just grumpy over the result

I have my first player going to free agency soon, does anyone know if there is a transfer fee on top of the 50% that i'll lose? (I'm not keeping him, he was purchased for playoff depth last season)
my new goalie is up for free agancy as well after his current contract....I hope i get offered alot...he will be 200-100-100 by then at least!
Someone makes a bid. If you don't pay 70% of it (if there was no bonus given) then he goes to that team and you are compensated 50% of what they bid.
interesting...todays game is already in the attendance records in the Best single game attendance - Friendly game - in the Information section. game starts in 30 min....2207 people are already there to see it?
but there's no transfer fee on top of that is there? 'cause my transfer fees are up to like 45%, so I'd be left with a whopping 5%....
It is 5% for the first 10 then goes up by 2% each transfer on top of that to a maximum of 50%
yah, i know, thats why I'm at 45%, what i mean is, will I have to pay a transfer fee from the 50% compensation that I get from my RFA. So say he goes for 1 million dollars, I will receive 500k, now do I pay my 45% transfer fee on top of that? leaving me with either only 5% of the total, or as fed wisely pointed out, 65% of the 50%... or will I just get 500k and it stays at that?
What it boils down to is, if my RFA goes for 1 million, do I receive:
a) 500k
b) 65% of the 50% for a total of 325k
or c) 5% for a total of 50k
Wow that sounds confusing, apologies, I think Fed is understanding what I'm trying to say though, even though I'm not sure I understand what I'm trying to say anymore...........

I am 99% sure RFA's don't count as a transfer fee since you have no say in putting them on the market. Thus, a).
lame, bought a player on the market that had nice Qs then once he joined the team they all dropped like 10-15%
