Quality wise, my players that could be considered are
1. Gregory Dunbar PG/SG - more likely SG
2. Rex Cage PF/C by size/training, but can be SF, PF or C

Any one with potential players for U19 National team, please post them here. You can also send me a message with updated scouting information for confidentiality.
Having trouble scouting centers for the U19 National team. With an abundance of PGs, SGs, and SFs in the mix for potential spots, I'm having trouble scouting for taller players currently 17-18 yo.
So any one with a player currently 17-18 years old being trained as a PF or C please send me up to date scouting info. It's ok to be undersized as a 17 year old as long as 200c+ is expected by the time the player stops growing.
All the help will be appreciated

With the new season among us and the elections underway, it seems like I'll be running unapposed for the U19 National team manager.
With my scouting complete, in a large part due to capsacian and coach2live's database and a whole bunch of research, I am ready to take office with a well balanced team.
I am in need of a dedicated manager to assist me with the daily operations of the team. Perferably some one with previous NT experience to help me learn and grow as a manager, but it's not required. Anyone interested hit me with a message and we can discuss views and ideas for the team.

Thank you all for the support during the election process
Without the help of capsacian and coach2live, selecting the line up would have been much harder. Their prospect database is amazing.
With the season about to begin, friendlies have been sent and the initial line up will be playing in the first few games to build chemistry. There will be changes, but I feel after all the hours of scouting I've selected the best staring roster for the team.
There will be plenty of changes to the roster as the season progresses. I've left many open roster spots for additional players. Most will be filled by the end of the week.
Many players that I thought highly of did not reach the minimum height requirements to play certain positions, but may still make the team with positional training changes.
Any and all help will be appreciated as a rookie manager.
BTW still looking for an assistant

Keep in mind they need to be in the "right" height only during the championships. So they have still half season or so to grow.
I agree, but there are plenty of now 19 year olds who never hit the height marks they were hoping for.
Including your Rex cage, there are a few currently under height players on the team

Rex Cage is still growing. many players still grow at age 19. so it will be hard to get 18yo PC/C at the "right" height
One thing you guys running youth teams will also have to collect is how many days it takes for a player to grow, whenever this info is possible (easier for pro managers)

this season will be harder for you guys *17/u19) but next one it will be eaier with much more players available at max age and right height.
for U17 it will still be near impossible to have PF/C at right height. but it will be a problem all managers will face, not just only USA

I wasn't aware players could continue to grow after 19. All of my players have stopped in between 18 til 19, but that is a small sample size. Good to know
It's sort of hard to predict height due to the lack of consistency with seasonal growth between players and possibly the number of seasons that a player will grow. With that said, the center on my team has a height of 214 at 18. I have a hard time believing that an 18 year old below 205 will get past even 210, especially if my player is capped at 220.
Perhaps the suggested positions on the draft page will turn out to be surprisingly accurate, and the seemingly short players will turn out to grow longer and end up sufficiently tall.
Whatever the case, I think it was a poor idea on PPM's part to let player growth be so unclear since managers have to commit to a position at an early age.

The U17 probably needs Dunbar to play SG, unless Steiner and/or Laird converts to SG.
I would recommend leaving at least 5 spots open. That way you can add the best player as of the time you need the player instead of being forced to project who the best injury call ups will be right now. That also allows you to add talented players from teams that are about to fold.
After just adding a few players that I neglected. I have 7 open spots on the U19 team. 2 two of the 7 spots will likely be filled before the start of tournament play. Leaving 5 spots for needed injury replacements and prospects
