You're right Larsson, but in this case we shouldn't have so much "weird results" (or upsets as some people named it).
I believe this simulator isn't completely bad, but the devs could surely find a better ratio of successful goal attempts, or try to find a better solution to decrese the number of unrealistic results, since as you said yourself, a simulator is created with the intention of simulate the reality.

There are 2 guys complaining here, 2 in Romania. There would be like how many in entire PPM world? Let's say 5 per each country in one evening.. How many matches are played in a day in entire game?
What's the percentage of upsets?

So if you are not basing in real world stats you are basing of what to say that the simulator is good or bad?
People get quiet since we have a lack of tradition of listening to our customers. Believe me.
Exactly! That's the best way to analyse its consistence.
While you are focusing on its adherence to RL.
Two different issues.

Sorry, I don't get you. I'm from Brazil.
Anyway, I'm available to gather all the data and provide the EXACT statistics of realibility of this simulator, if you or anyone pay me for the job, otherwise I'm afraid I won't do it for free.
However, I'm sure the devs already have the tools to do that, and they surely have also the resources to analyze our feedback, debates and opinions, which are different indeed, but all with a common interest: a better game.

Don't you think if they already tested this part?
@jorgenius & everhern
I read the devs several times saying the number of upsets are according to their planning...
If you don't trust in the data they collect.. you should collect it by your own..

Hummm... How would collecting data change anyone's opinion?
Huh? That is the only thing that would change anyones opinion.
At least I'm so far not convinced but if there would be reliable statistics... You told me the only data you've seen doesn't support your point. And the devs say the statistics are ok.
Now the only way for you to persuade people is to provide some data.

Maybe we could just wait to see if they will lose some important game?
They will, and when they do, will they change their opinion or shut it to support their previous opinion?
A really philosophical question... =)

I don't want to persuade anybody.
If the majority think it's all ok, I'll I'll follow.. deep sea baby.

To not leave you unexplained. If their data is right, what benefit would do collecting the same data? They would just keep the same opinion. Capice?
That's exactly the point. Everyone experiences upsets and is angry. But it's a misunderstanding to think that the engine is broken just because you lost an important game. Only a good statistics could show if something is not working properly.
And btw, I say this though I had two upsets after another.
One with the german national team on saturday: A (for WC qualification) severe tie against Malaysia!
The other with my team on tuesday: A howler tie with 11 to 1 shots on the goal in a match important for becoming national champion. Feel free to take a look.
I'm still not convinced, now what?

Now we shift to the excuse that you are part of PPM team and thus your opinion is compromised?
