Maybe William Beliveau and Justin Ludlam can be the multi-sporters of PPM. Like MJ of basketball/baseball...
I blame my poor showing largely on my own ineptness. It is discouraging though to see all the promoted teams passing all the other teams in the league in OTR. Doesn't really pass the logic test to me.
I agree. There needs to be incentive. I've long argued a sponsor cap if you're not in the top league. That way OTR becomes irrelevant if you clean up shop and then take for promotion. I.1 would have a capless sponsor offer but in reality due to OTR plateaus and facility plateaus it would have more a virtual cap.
Something like 10M/week general sponsor in div2. 7M/week in div3. You get to div1 there's no cap but guys are getting 8-12M for general sponsors there now. I think it's a better idea personally. But others would say
"It increases the gap between rich and poor!" That is only somewhat true. Look at real life though, there are huge payoffs for being in the EPL compared to the 2nd division. You get relegated it's a big deal. Here... meh. Relegation smeligation.

I see where they are coming from with the 15% OTR. teams that promote should loose a lot more games then they win in the new league, by starting with a higher OTR at the end of the season when the OTR brings in sponsor money, they won't have less then they did at the begining of the season after promotion. All the teams in the higher division will have won a lot more games then the promoted team and will once again have a higher OTR at the end of the season. I am not going to say that this is how it will definitely work, but in a perfect world, that is what I am guessig they are thinking. For me, the reduced OTR loss will make up for moving to div 3 and loosing a lot, instead of staying in div 4 and winning almost all my games...
Finish 4th in I is good enough to qualify you to international competitions and to get decent money. In II you have to be 1st and that gives you less error margin. A lot of the teams in II.01 and II.02 started at the same time than us and at the time I was promoting were as good as the teams on I. We are going to start seeing more difference on the divisions as the time past but still II.02 and II.01 are close.
The champion on I got promoted last season.
The champion on I got promoted last season.
That is not true. My first season after promotion I finish 3rd.
The champion of the I promoted last season.
They screw me big time. I promoted twice and I didn't get the increase of OTR neither the money bonus.

The first few seasons guessing teams were pretty even. Not saying this is the absolute way, just another way to look at it. You finished 2nd in the top league last year, I really don't think you are doing that bad...
I am not. But I lost lot of money on the first 3 seasons and now I am not getting the compensation for promotion like the other teams.
true, but the first few season were just evening out what league teams should be in. I am just suggesting an idea of how ppm could see what is going on with OTR and promotion money. I have been around for just over half a season, I would not be happy if in 4 seasons begining people started with triple the money I got to start with, so I feel your pain.
That whole "red card affecting the rest of the game" thing in the new engine sure is working:

I'd say it was. 22 shot attempts to their two! It was only their LM that got sent off but still. 11 SOT.
