Subject: Senior NT

Hi
So the next two games are critical for us. First away vs Denmark, then at home vs Czech Republic. We need to win both and for the Czech Republic to lose their games. This may be out of our hands as Slovenia are beatable when they are saving their energy, and they are also playing Finland who are now saving their energy too by the looks of it.

I will still give it my best shot. If it is impossible for us to qualify, then i will take the opportunity to play more of the younger stars in our team.

I have called up Leon Fowell (SG) of Whitefall Dragons as he has had an excellent season in I.1 and I think he will provide an extra boost in the SG position and will be part of the transition on to the best new stars coming through over the next few seasons.

Nice win for the NT tonight in Denmark, well played guys. Still in it!

Yes we had a decisive 3rd quarter. We managed to put their big guys in foul trouble and they had no chance! Shame we didn't do the same in the home draw, but we are still in with a chance vs the Czechs.

Thank you for your support this season. Unfortunately we did not make it to the next round of the World Cup, but i hope that you enjoyed seeing our nation's stars on court and picking up some wins on the way. I enjoyed managing the team a lot..

I want to particularly thank Beddington Park for his excellent help as my assistant manager and Apollinaire, RossP, KevRob063 and TheKop for their help mainly with the scouting over the course of the campaign.

I had hoped to build more relationships with the managers who are training our young stars but have only had limited success. Its important we build the number of managers who are interested in developing UK players so we can increase the strength and depth of our team in future.

I am not going to run for the NT manager next season because I am not going to have very much free time but i will do my best to support the next manager and am looking forward to seeing who steps forward in the next election.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Mark. He really put a lot into the NT. He set up detailed spreadsheets, raised the scouting where needed and was highly proactive - and most of all he's a top bloke. Thanks buddy - I will miss our daily shenanigans !

I second that, Nige. Mark has built an excellent foundation this season and I hope to see some more success next season.

I was hoping to stand for the Manager's job next season but on reflection I've withdrawn because of time commitments later in the season. So best of luck to all the candidates running and I hope we keep getting closer season by season.

Thank you for voting me to be your senior NT manager this season. I'm looking forward to the challenge!

I'm also looking forward to seeing what the U19 manager Apollinaire, and the U17 manager The Kop will do in their first season in charge of the youths and how we will work together.

I'm going to post my updates and ask any questions of the community here.

I have just been through the roster and identified the players I will use in the tournament.

There are quite a few on the roster that i will cut because they do not have the right mix skills to play at international level.

I have decided to leave all U20s to Apollinaire so that he can give them court time and help develop them hopefully for the senior NT.

I am looking for an assistant manager and people to help me scout opposition players with their HR scouting team.

- you have a 20 or 21 year old that is OVR >450 and you think has the right skills and height for their position

- you would like an explanation as to why i cut your player. In some cases their skills may be corrected by proper training.

Hungary friendly tonight 8pm.

Unfortunately i missed the deadline yesterday for calling up the players i wanted for this friendly, so there are some in there that i wouldn't have picked.

However, it will still be a good test for some of the players i see starring in this competition.

I am very happy with how the guys played against Hungary tonight. They are a quality team, and we managed to finish the game with a respectable score.
This shows that we are capable of giving the other teams in our group a run for their money

we will see. It's only friendly game and if i would judge from that i would not be so sure.

Were going to have to work very hard to compete in this group. ive already messaged a lot of managers to change their training. Even if this doesnt help this season, it will do next season.

Tonight, the UK senior team plays its first world cup qualification game against Croatia away from home. The tip off is at 8pm this evening.

This is a big game for us and I am expecting it to be close and exciting!

The U19 are also playing Croatia U19 and the U17s are playing the Netherlands U17s, so plenty of action to catch!

I would also like to thank everyone i have contacted this season that has changed their player's training plans in line with my advice.

I am confident that as your players change shape over the next season or two, this will boost their performance and help us to win some games at international level.
