Interesting results today... upcoming games are going to be HUGE in determining final positioning.

Unless there are some big surprises, I am guessing the final standings, for the top 6 at least, will finish like they are today. Top games remaining:

I only care about promoting... Hoping my energy saving has paid off.

Still pleased with my showing though. Especially considering that last time I was up in II I only won one game.

Guess I'm gonna' be shopping for a coupla' more vets for next season (after my bank account replenishes a bit).

I'm also going to have to be a bit more careful next year as far as my energy level goes. I think it was Runny that said he was in the low 90's. I myself am hovering in the high 70's-low 80's. Spending the energy is probably what kept me in the top 8 for most of the season but, I've got nuthin' left now at the end.

he can afford to save energy cause he has capable players. We just need to be smart on when to spend the energy.

I didnt care spending the energy as it is my first time at D2 and felt i had nothing to lose.

I unpluged the chase for 8th when the level was way too low.

I will probably play the same way next season as i dont plan to upgrade my players

i'm down to the low60s and high50s, hoping III goes better next year.

I'm going down in the first round. The Brewers should, destroy me, but I've seen upsets before. Good luck to everyone, and I do agree that whoever promotes will more than likely demote next season. But not only do you get a lump sum for promoting but you have the chance of demoting to an easier league.

Don't be so sure about demotion - I finished 9th in the regular season and should finish no lower than 12th in the playoffs for my first season up in I.1 after promoting. Several of you guys have team strengths higher than mine currently too, so whoever promotes will probably do alright.

Sure, but I bet you used an awful lot more energy. Your team will easily have a higher team strength on day one of next season than mine will.

And on that point, I think you guys took it easy on me this season. I haven't had this much energy going into playoffs since my second stint in tier III.
