top 2 seeds will have a massive advantage in the playoffs it seems. with the point gap so close between the top 6, i would imagine team strengths are pretty close as well. top 2 seeds may be able to conserve some more energy in the first round

It is definitely going to be interesting as the last 8 games feature many matchups that can greatly change the standings. Going to be interesting how everything finishes up.

AGREE- From 1-10 this looks like an incredible finish- WHile 1-6 are fighting for the TOP spot 7, 8, 9, 10 are doing everything humanly possible to stay in the TOP 8....

I like my chances of makign the Top 8 teams-- last 7 games only one player currently in the Top 8 and that is River Rats in 8th.

I think you're safe for the top 8... at this point it's a matter of where everyone finishes (more specifically 1-6) but I could be wrong. We could have a completely different table at the end. Many key matchups between top teams the last couple of weeks. No matter what the playoffs will be a dogfight. I think the only easy matchup will be the 1 versus 8 seed. Everyone else has their work cut out for them. Good luck to all!

Have fun frantically competing for a playoff spot. I can pretty much coast into third place in my league (II.2) where half of the good teams have folded. I'd probably struggle to make the top 8 in this league.

5 games left... lots of compelling matchups over the next couple days that could change the makeup of the table completely by seasons end. Everyone in the top 6 has at least 2 games (by my estimations) they could possibly lose. Anyone bold enough to make any predictions?

1st Place-- Updog Brewers-- They have been smart on energy all year and will win out.

2nd- Faketown Fakemascots-- Loses to DHC in a close one in shootout giving Updog the 2 pts they need to overcome.

3rd- North Stars-- Easy schedule at the end. THIS PLACE DEPENDS on a win against Smuggling Grapes and losing to Faketown for the last GOTY.

4th-DHC Corsairs- By far the toughest remaining schedule- Can easily be in 1st or second. However I foresee a loss to 2 more teams. End season playing 1st, 2nd, 6th, and 7th ranked teams. TOUGH. If they win out this is a 1st place team.

5th- Mobile Rain-- Will lose to DHC to move up to 5th place.

6th- Smuggling Grapes- After a disappointing slide from 1st place the smuggling grapes woes continue. With losses to North Stars, Faketown and Updog to end the season, one can only imagine what is going on in the Front Office. Heads will Roll.

7th- Bleeding Wildcats- With a 4 pt lead on Sparkly B-A-N-A-N-A-S this team only needs to take care of business against Coach and his Rats (who will likely go all out to salvage a chance for 8th place) and an AWAY game against DHC. Assuming a WIN against the RATS and a loss to DHC this team should be comfortable to stay in 7th.

8th- Sparkly B-A-N-A-N-A-S- My most confident pick. This team will win out and Hope that Bleeding has a tough time and ties or loses a couple.

9th-- River Rats-- TWO tough games to start the week-- Hard to overcome a point gap with Sparkly if they cant win one or both.

Active managers, forums, and we seem to carry the most team the farthest every year in the national cup other than I.1

I just I cared a the beginning of the season-- Ive spent tons of money near the end to insure that Im in the tourney so I hope to be fine with that, Maybe I can make a run at the end to promote.

Well, count me out... I'm shutting it down... I knew this match against Opice was going to be a trap game I was going to lose, completely outshot him and lose 1-0 in the final seconds. Gotta love the random..... Good luck the rest of the way everyone and good luck in the playoffs.
