Subject: II.1

We might be in trouble I checked my first opponent. He has a guy over 400OR already. I just got my first 300OR player during the playoffs. We've come from such a weak league that I don't even know how to handle being a huge underdog. This is gonna be scary.

I was in the same situation coming into last season. I beat a team without a manager in the promotion round and noticed that many of the teams in the league were much better than mine. I set my goal to remain in division II, and was able to do just that.

There are definitely some powerful teams in this league, but there are also a number of teams similar in strength to yours (including mine). Good luck this season.

Tufague, you're my first game of the new season. From the looks of your team strength it could be a close game and if you play the right counter-tactic it could easily be an upset. Just because my top line is all 300+ OR plays dosen't mean you don't have a shot at beatting me.

And to the other new team here, welcome and good luck. Like Obryantj said there are some really good team in this league, but there are just as many teams that a just a little weaker and with this game upsets can happen at any time.So don't think just because your the underdig you're going to lose. This league should be a lot move competitve than the one your coming from. Again Welocme and good luck to all for the upcoming season.

Nmb has a point, I played one of the top teams in Russia and had him tied but fell apart due to fatigue in the 3rd period. SO anything is possible

I'm coming from a league where no one had more than one 300OR player=) Except the team that tried to buy a promotion by adding 4 of them at the end of the season. Your handful of 300OR guys is more than enough to freak me out. And I'm worried about my goalie being good enough. He's never had to carry the team.

Team strength is probably deceiving. III.1 is pretty weak. I played all games on low until the second round of the playoffs. alien went the other way and played a lot of games on Normal. It'll be interesting to see how we stack up after the games tomorrow.

I see you being able to avoid relegation relatively easy, I see me having to scramble at parts to keep my part.

I have no players over 300OR but(atleast I'd like to think) my core players are pretty high and not top end heavy so I have good depth throughout my 4 lines

No matter how you guys do, I look forward to having you, always enjoy having active players over bot teams

Not how I like to start a season but a 0-5 loss against the #6 team from last year isn't so bad. Shows me were I'm at.

So why did you switch your goalie at 3-0? Are they pretty close in rating, or just trying to build both up?

All of that buildup to the first game and I forgot to change tactics I took the time to get my line-up back in semi-league shape, but I didn't do any of the tweaks that I wanted to and I completely forgot about changing tactics. I played friendlies in the last week on Normal, so that's what I used today. Those screw-ups got me a 2-2 tie v Mannheim. I can't believe I forgot that stuff, but at least the energy wasn't totally wasted.

It's a setting I forgot to change from last season, I brought in my top one late and wanted to build his chemistry up so if I was losing by 3 or winning by 5 he would come in the 3rd for some game time.

That's cool, I don't think it might have affected the outcome of this game, but just thought it might be something worth checking

Ya I think if I had remembered to change that I would of held you to only 4 goals
