Today's pull?
I got junks, one with 198 OR, asking for 1098 salary? What? I want to know what that guy knows, so hired, want to scout that guy.

HUGE road win for the Wolves today in front of 2,000 fans! Woot! I've been playing my backup goalie and he has rattled off 3 straight wins...and I think he just supplanted the usual starter.

Last 5 games guys! The only team to clinch so far is the Yetis, although they could drop out of first seed of the playoffs yet. The Jaguars only need 2 points to clinch.

Goldfish, Foresters, and Illusion of Progress are the only teams that can get in, the remaining teams don't have enough points to be able to catch up. Good luck everyone!

Random tidbits about top league scoring...

The following is the breakdown, by team, of number of players in the Top 50 of scoring, followed by their overall rank in team goals scored:

Wolves - 8 players (1st in team offense)
Thugs - 7 (2nd)
Illusion of Progress - 6 (7th)
Yetis - 5 (3rd)
Menheim Attack - 5 (4th)
Goldfish - 5 (8th)
Notso Fastos - 4 (T-9th)
Pirates - 3 (5th)
Jaguars - 3 (6th)
Sparhawks - 2 (T-9th)
Nanooks - 1

Illusion's spot on there is a little surprising -- an 11th place team with a 7th-ranked offense.

You can tell I'm a Devils fan, as my team's highest scorer ranks a measly 29th on the list. Why? I don't have a single player in the Top 50 in assists.

Sparhawks only have 2 players up there, but they're ranked 8th and 19th, both due to a huge number of assists. The latter is a D-man (3rd best). Those two players combine for just under 22% of the team's total assists.

Goldfish, which has the league's 7th best Goal Differential (+64), has the Top 1-4 ranked players in plus-minus (all +32), and the 7th best (+25).

Yeah some of my players are doing well in the statistics.

Dissapointing season overall though..

Talbot is also a first year player too, hopefully he's only going to get better

Offense is only part of the game (obviously ya'll know this)...I'm #1 in offense, but nowhere close to #1 in goaltending or in defense.

For me this season has been slightly worse stat and league position wise. Last season I had 3 players in the top 10 of total points, this season only 1. I'll have to wait and see if my final position in the sanding is lower this season too.

Anothere random fact the only goaltender to play in all 33 games so far this season is on a no name team.

The good news is that my goaltending has gone from 25, to 27 in little over a week. I directly attribute this to getting closer to the correct build ratio...although I still have room for greater improvement.

Oh this is just... wonderful. Two top-line wingers go down for 10+ days within 2 days of each other. Just lost my best scorer.

Thankfully my schedule to end the season is lighter than it could be... but it's going to wreak havoc on my playoff run.

Hornets got lucky with tactics against me -- *sigh*. I'm happy to just get a point. Good thing I had that extra game worth of padding in the standings.

No matter what I'm going to be without two of my best scorers thru the first round of the playoffs, so I'm starting to jumble my lines a bit.

Well, lucky me! Good tactics choice (: I still think in this game you cannot trust the numbers. You should've won this game...

With 3 games left, only spots 7 and 8 are available. Illusion can only squeak into 8th, and Manheim only needs 2 points to clinch.
