Seems like less leagues throughout ppm. I just got an award for having pucks from all leagues. I was missing several, but now due to the contraction I have them all. Only 86 total hockey leagues. Seems that it used to be over 120?
As a NT manager, it's depressing to see bad teams win the bidding on promising players. Unfortunately, I didn't particularly want to dedicate too much money to buying prospects at this time in hockey.
I don't mean to pressure anyone into buying players they can't afford, don't have room for, who wouldn't be an asset relative to the players already on the roster, or whom they just don't want. They same goes for selling players for profit or to get rid of unnecessary players.
I know it is frustration that comes from the heart and soul that you put into our National team. Don't worry about being honest, I feel the same way.....you being you is what we need in the National Team Managers......in my opinion. Keep up the hard work and we'll have your back.
And you can always take heart in the fact that the vast majority of those promising young players will have early CL drops and never turn out that great anyway.

While it may be true that way too many seemingly promising prospects end up disappointing with unfortunate luck with CL, never maturing into the Senior national team star they seemed to have the potential to become .... wait, what was my point again? I wish that the CL grim reaper would leave more NT players alone.
How did I beat the Razorback Thugs 6-1 and outshoot them 42-17? I don't think playing normal to very low explains it. I'm probably close enough, particulary in goal and on defense that I might win 5% of the time. I lost to them 0-3 in the Cup yesterday. They're not tanking - their only other loss came against one of the other 2 elite teams.
It's nice to be in first for a while longer, though I still expect to lose 2-3 of my next 3 games.

Sweet victory boys. The 3 Champions League teams and the 3 Cup Winners teams all pitched a win. Cannot remember the last time we all did the deed. Congrats to those teams and good luck the rest of the way.
I recommend checking out the III.1 U.S. hockey forum. A returning manager started a new team and got a team full of NT (U18 and U20) caliber players. At the very least, some of them might be able to help the U20 NT this season.
Out of curiosity, what's the oldest active player you've seen on a hockey team (or other sport) on PPM? By "active," I simply mean someone who's on a non-dead team.

Ha! OR 7 is what got me there. I've got a 42-year-old defenseman, but honestly he's better than what I have otherwise, so he stays for now.
