The price for sporting directors will go up before the next draft.
I buy them at the end of season, just like the managers. Dont like to pay big salaries.

Why does end of season matter for SDs? Their salary is re-adjusted every 112 days and doesn't coincide with the end of season...
It might be interesting to compare notes (after the draft) for the results of the scouting for the draft to determine the distribution of potentials (if this isn't already known) and perhaps the extent of error in scouting.
Remember, that scouted potential is as good as your managers can get. So if your manager's scouting rating sucks, like mine currently, that scouted potential is not really that accurate.
I'm going to train/keep managers with ~80 Scouting rating. I think paying them 8-10 mill a year salary would be worth it if I can get a couple of A-rated players.

My first 4 were B,B,C,D.
I was thinking of comparing the results for each player. This way, between a few contributers, it would be possible to cover a larger proportion of the pool of players. It would also be possible to see the extent to which the results were different for the same player for teams with different quality scouts.
Obviously, it is unlikely that anyone will want to share their results for particular players before the draft, but it can be done afterwards if a few managers copy and paste the page to Word or take a screenshot.
That sounds like a good idea to get a good scout to help with the draft, though it might be good to wait and see how good the players for each rating actually turn out.

Actually comparing notes so to speak with a couple people prior to the draft would give the group an overall better chance of grabbing the best players in the first round and possibly second round.
The trick is picking who you share information with depending on their place in draft and how many really good picks are available. You might miss out on the best pick but you're much more likely to end up with good players by having more information.
Granted if you're one of the last teams to pick it wouldn't be a good idea to work with teams at the top of the list since you're playing to their advantage but a couple spots above or below you would benefit all involved without having much impact on your options.

I've got 10 players scouted and no A's yet. If A's are going to be rare enough that out of my 35 free scoutings, I only see one A, then I don't think cooperating would be beneficial.
I suspect B's will turn into 3-3.5 star players, which are great for new teams but useless for me. So the A's are the only ones that really matter and whether I increase or decrease my odds of getting one depends entirely on their rarity.

Don't tell me that you paid extra 2.5M or credits just to scout more players? And whisper me which player has A potential.
