Just to generate some conversation and responses in the forums, how is everyone finding this season?

Personally, my team is greatly outperforming my expectations. I doubt anyone thought my team would be where we are at this point in the season (hopefully not cursing them). After losing the majority of close games last season, luck has been on my side most of the time. I spent more time with tactics last season than this as well and I have not upgraded my roster besides a 4th line winger. My goalies have been nothing short of consistently good. Just goes to show how little managers actually control.

I'm about where I expected to be - fighting to avoid relegation. I had a 2-3 week span where I didn't switch tactics or anything which screwed me over, otherwise I might be around 15th or so. But I can't complain. My arena got maxed out, I'll have enough money to upgrade all of the major 4 facilities, and I made it to the final 8 in the National Cup!

I'm pretty much right where I thought I'd be... had a couple lucky wins against teams I thought I'd lose to which were cancelled out by losses to teams I should have beat. Only real disappointment was my teams performance in the National Cup.

I do enjoy the fact that the surprise factor seems to be there this year as evidenced in many of the results this season. Standings are very close in a number of areas.

I'm more or less where I'd thought I'd be. The league is more competitive this year. I actually tried to focus more on the National Cup, but it's hard to beat the Psychos and Razorback.

Looks like I am settling into 12th place. Another season in the middle eight where I try to avoid relegation. Just trying to keep hanging around while I continue to build my arena and facilities.

Looks like we lost High Hitterz, damn.

The old guard is almost gone. Time for some of you young up and comers to join the party. He's got a ton of national players on his team......get you checkbooks out.....I'm tapped.

Good. Now we need to get rid of Razorback Thugs and Psychos somehow.

Field a better team and shove it down our throats

This is worrisome. The High Hitterz and Irresistible Force used to account for a significant portion of the best prospects.

We've lost several teams in Canada too recently. Mostly soccer I.1 teams that were 4th-10th or so. It happens with these games, the shelf-life for people is always different. The main thing is, there are still lots of new people signing up *and* with every experienced team that leaves that is a chance for money to flow to a younger team new to the league.

But yes, it'll hurt national teams. Canada is already seeing the effects of this.

That's true. The number of teams with good sports academies is otherwise still growing. In addition, the teams that have or will soon complete their stadiums should begin to focus more on their sports academy.

The loss of the Irresistible Force actually hasn't actually made much of a difference yet, but the loss of these two teams will start to do so next season.
