That's completely disheartening as my long-term plan involved a complete rebuild of the team similar to what Tujague did this past season when my facilities reach 14-15. A likely stint in Division III wouldn't surprise me if I followed that plan and if you're right zomg, I'm screwed.
If you where to go for that about the only way ould be to stash a bunch of cash first, but im guessing you wouldn't have to worry about regulation if you manage to save enough t last you a full sean or two
You'd have to max the stadium first, otherwise dropping down with high level facilities will kill your income.
Movie, Three Amigos, with Chevy Chase? youtu.be/GIGtHhAfe8w Infamous is more than famous
But don't worry Leggman, I'm coming to throw you from the top!

Thanks for the tip. I plan to finally max one section of my stands this season, but it looks like I'll have to focus a bit more on my stadium than I have been.
A fair number of seasons? I would think 15 seasons of good managing (without resorting to daytrading because I think that's just too unrealistic) should get you competitive with any team. That's almost 5 years.
And once again, this has nothing to do with me being frustrated because I can't win right now. I actually like playing youngsters and developing them, so it's harder for me to get to the top. I've been playing HockeyArena since 2007 and only reached I.1 3 seasons ago. This honestly has nothing to do with my team. I want other people to have hope so they'll stick around because that's what I like about these games- playing against a lot of people all over the world.
And I didn't mention you and the Boilermakers because you're ruining soccer. FC Corona and his douchy daytrading will ruin soccer in the US. I mentioned you guys and Goldfish as some of the better teams from different eras who could conceivably take over as the top team in hockey if others quit. You guys have no problem just grinding away, or outlasting others. Someone like RedWings gets bored and quits. Someone like me gets bored and rebuilds.
Now, as far as the penalties. Of course I wouldn't want to punish teams who win. But it's way too easy to stay on top once you get there. Screw it. I never wanted to post this because it can knock the wind out of anyone's sails, but I did the math on Leggmann recently. Nevermind. I had to delete his finances. I can't post that. It'll just make more people want to quit. I'll just say that in 3 seasons, he'll make more in PROFIT than I've made in revenues in my career. And I only started a season and a half behind.
Hell yes there needs to be some penalties.
Either that or a complete reboot.

I think you're seeing where I'm coming from, but just to clarify. Maxing out the stadium/etc is only the beginning. At that point, Leggmann will still have a much better team and a lot more money. If you're lucky, and can buy in a bunch of high quality young players, you might have it timed right to overtake the Force on the Ice if Leggmann decides to rebuild with younger players as well. If you do everything just right, then you might be able to catch him in transition 3-5 years after you've maxed your stadium/facilities. It looks like it'll take most teams 4-5 years to max out everything. That's 7-10 years to catch Leggmann.
However, he could just continue to buy established players and plug them into his lineup forever. Then at your peak, you might be able to knock him down a bit. But it won't be for too long. He'll still have all the money in the world.
I honestly don't think it's possible to catch him if he continues to be a good manager. He's making entirely too much money.

What skill is important for faceoffs? The Red Wings are getting outshot every game although their shooting rating is high but they are winning the majority of their faceoffs (exemption against the Force of course) with a low offense rating (wingers at center, centers on the wing).
Yeah I've decided as soon as my PP runs out I'm done with PPM as a whole. It just never got off the ground, awesome start and community and then just left in the dust. I've dropped over 100 dollars I believe on this game, that is a substantial investment for me into a videogame to get pretty much 0 out of it, keep hanging on because I've spent so much money and dropping more money in because I've spent so much money but I just don't see it changing. Handball is a larger priority over their paying customers, a tennis game seemed to be a higher priority over their paying customers and yet a financial issue (for those that remember and have been around long enough) that I pointed out in season 3 has come to fruition. Nothing was done to curtail it and all the "fixes" that they seem to implement are weak and so slow. I am still paying but nothing in return.
Does anyone know if the developers see this as a problem or if they just think it's a good simulation of real life? Almost like how college football is here in the US, the rich just keep getting richer.
I hate to be a complainer, but I am seriously wondering what you all think: how is it that the Boilermakers' goalie gets 1st star, and my goalie isn't listed at all? If anything the Boilermakers are a better team than mine, we were equal in shots and my goalie stopped one more than his did. I rarely have much in the way of 3-star players, so it's nice to get em when you can.
opivy I hope you don't leave but if you do please give the USA Team Managers a heads up so we can save any of your top players if they are not on a team already. Thanks.
