It looks like I'll be joining the big boys next season. It should be fun.
I did a little research and it looks like Reverist and I (and potentially jjung19) will be the only players to join after season 1 to be in I.1 next season. I looked back through previous seasons and only 3 other teams who started after season 1 have made it to I.1. All 3 teams (Otsego Crush, Pookinators and Anchorage Alaskans) are now inactive. Take it for what its worth, but I find in interesting.

I hope not. LOL But I built a new stand and I'm in the negatives so any extra cash will help.
That sucks that they quit. This type of game is such that people need to be patient and build up their stadium and facilities first. People want to win right away and they spend money on players and then they can't afford the pay the weekly bills.
I suppose everyone must realize that are only a couple of teams that get close to the Force and even this season they didn't manage to beat them.

Wow awesome! I started in the last five days or so of season 2, after all playoff games were done, so I really only started season 3. I'm looking forward to playing next season with you guys.
Indeed, patience is the key. I don't expect to be beating the top half of the league right away. I anticipate it will be several seasons before I can be in the playoffs consistently. I would be thrilled to finish 12th next season lol.
You can't finish 12th. I consistently claim that spot as my own. I don't know how I will feel if I have to take 13th or 14th instead. The battle for 12th begins. lol
hahaha oh man! Already started a rivalry. Well take comfort in knowing you'll probably beat me both times anyway. 
So...opivy's not actually coming up, despite his saying that he would. He obviously stayed down on purpose, but why? What more advantage is there to be gained?
Maybe he'd rather succeed at Div 2, because he knows he can't compete in Div I
Maybe...but I was under the impression from his team strength that he would do better than I would at least. Maybe I should've stayed down lol!

Well, at least this time he pushed his team up to the promotion/relegation round. Two seasons that I was there, he lost on purpose in the first round of the playoffs.
The only downside to that is that he ensured a second team from that league would not promote. He should at least go down in the semis to allow two teams the shot. 
It seemed like he was trying to win in the finals except his goalie set up. He only played his #1 goalie for the first period each game.
Yeah I would call it comical. Its never much fun to be on the butt end of a joke though haha. I'm glad I finally broke the cycle though and think I should be able to compete for a playoff spot.
