Trying to understand growth. My understanding is as follows. Each player has his own steady growth rate. I have players that grow a cm every 15 days, some go 11 days then 12 days and the pattern repeats. The slowest for me is 28 days and the fastest is every 7 days. I have seen no spurts and no slowdowns even when injured. Sometimes the first growth period is faster or slower but then gets steady. I assume that when you pull a player when his stated height shows 175 it could actually be between 174.5 and 175.4.
There is a point when they stop growing, individual to each player. None of my original players grew a single cm so I assumed there was no growth when they hit 19. I was wrong. I have 3 - 19 year old players and 2 continue to grow. The one who stopped has not grown since about half way through last season. He is my only player who has stopped. he grew every 11 days and then just stopped. Anyone have a different experience. I suspect some will stop sooner. I just have not experienced it.
Facilities seem to make no difference.
I like to follow so I can plan my training better.

"Players will keep growing for some time after they arrive from the sports academy. The length of this period is individual as well as the rate at which the players grow in height. "
My understanding is much like yours: They arrive with some A.b height and grow at C cm/day until they reach age D where A, b, C and D are different for all players. Right now I'm just using age 15 height as a proxy for which position to train them for. I hope to collect data and do a PPM Mag article on growth projections given SA-pulled height.

Yeah I made a mistake to train a guy in the PF position even if he was still far from the minimum heigh to play PF, He's one of my best prospect, but still far from playing
My SF that was a A in the draft last season is only growing every 23 days and would only reach the minimum height for SF if he grows until he's 20, certainly an aspect of this game we will have to get used to
I should check my growth rates. I think most stop growing in the 18-19 range with a select few growing into their 20s.
I agree, when playing the market centers are the most expensive. But also well built SF as they are few and far between. I've also found that people are willing to pay for height as people want someone who can play now
I've been told the same but none of y'all are sharing your points with me! Ever heard of tit-for-tat in game theory (Prisoner's dilemma)?

I think everyone started with viable Centers, but growing them has its challenges. The rapidly growing one can drop their C/L, or the one that grows slowly, may not reach the minimum height. I see a glut of PF on the market.
Non-day 1 players:
Jorn van Zoggel
Sviatapolk Nazaraŭ
Claude Scimenca
Roberto Channing
Though they won't all be playing C, they are options if I choose it.

On top of that out of your day 1 players, your top 3 OR could play center, a shame on the small side you weren't as gifted otherwise we would call you goldfish
Btw I like that steal you got when you sold your 5/6 youngster C for 30mil last season
Yea, all my good players are PFs or Cs. I didn't get anyone good in SF or SG and especially PG. I dipped into the market but it was a bit early as they are 18yo now and 15yos are being pulled as good as they are - sigh.
