you should see my league, probably the toughest division to make the playoffs since my team is stuck in 9th.

So.I was wondering, is there any benefit to winning the NC instead of runner up(other than OTR for the 1 game). Sure there is the fancy trophy, but u both qualify anyways. Doesn't seem to be worth it to play the finals on VH
Nope. Extra OTR and trophy provided two teams go to the CWC.

If only one team goes to the CWC then obviously you need to win.
I think players gain popularity as well from big wins like this - which can be useful for selling merchandise and drawing greater crowds to home games
I would say congrats but unfortunately didn't work out
