Your correct, shooting and blocking has no effect

I think hieght has an effect in the game. Defense effects steals and shot blocking.
There is a penalty if your player isn't in the suggested height for every position
I would tend to agree, on shots the height of the shooter and defender is taken into account, I'm sure height also matters for rebounds. Would be interesting to know if being shorter helps your speed or if there are any advantages to being on the shorter side of the scale
U right, I may try something else to bounce back in play off spots.
I considered that as well. We will know in 5 seasons, when the analysis has something. I think that the attributes are king, then one of shooting or defense.

If it's true, it's strange, i think blocking is the main defensive factor and shooting the main offensive, so it should have great influence on player rating/team rating ...

Just pure shooting is from the 3 point line.2 point shots are jump and shooting. Close in shots are jump and some other attribute, which one I forgot.
Yeah but it's kind of 50% of shooting factor is shooting. The other 50% is combinaison of jump, tec, player height. So i think shooting is the major offense factor
