I really F'd up. I didn't realize that my team was headed to the relegation/promotion round and I sent all of my best players to camp just before those games were scheduled. The sponsors are unhappy with the team's performance and now I'm paying for it. Have to eat a turd sandwich for a season. I'm thinking of ditching basketball along with handball.
I think a big reason sponsor offers are low in Canada is the low amount of managers we have. The average OTR in our div 1 is so low compared to other countries...
For example our average is 542, USA is 610 and they don't have a team that is successful internationally.
I barely lost any games in the past few seasons, finished 3rd in CL two years in a row, even schedule friendlies against teams with good OTR and play my top line to maximize my OTR...and with all that I can't reach top ten in OTR.
We are definitely at a big disadvantage.

Stick with Handball - you're one of the top teams and have a bright future
Looks like I'm back in i.1 next season. Should be a b*tch after chalking up a 42-2 record in ii.3
That's such a stupid rule. Just prevents smaller countries from ever doing anything internationally, and creates juggernauts in countries with more players.
We're all supporting the game by playing, players shouldn't get more money just by where they live.

Like people said in the comments of the last article published (about the future of PPM), people say that the downfall and/or the reason why PPM didn't prosper is the fact that it tremenduously advantages country with a bigger playerbase (Eastern European countries where PPM is popular).
Yeah that sounds about right.
Just seems short sighted from the makers.

They used ProPack money to develop quick-cash duel games. As they saw how easy it was to make money this way, PPM development stalled. People aren't stupid. They saw this, and left. The game was stable, and viable. But as you grow more products you need more people and costs balloon. Suddenly PPM isn't able to support what were initially secondary games which officially kills their support/development of PPM. My $0.02.
Personally I thought it was dumb to launch a new sport and essentially have people buy their way into D1
Lol pretty much...tbh tho they are very weak anyways. Nobody in Canada has been getting good pulls. It's actually sad how bad it's been
From experience in soccer, these type of elections put us back a couple seasons. We've yet to elect a Trump candidate though which would put us back a couple centuries.
I'm sorry to not have applied for U19. I've been the manager for u19 for I think the last 3 seasons, and it was too much for me this season.
