Not sure. I scouted all the players (or most of them) that coulb be elligible as i guess next season there could be the u18 or whatever
I wouldn't be surprised if elections for the youth handball teams opened next season since the youth handbal1 teams were ~10% done as of 10/29/14 according to the to do list, and there should be about a season to sign up for the elections.
In any case, my scout has nothing to do at the moment, so I am willing to help with scouting if any help is necessary.

That's interesting. Lanky has a 15yr old sitting at 502 right now but he's also an offensive right back. My 485er is a offensive center back and he'll 500 by the end of the year. U18 looks promising for this age year
As always, I am running for the National team manager chair, so feel free to vote for me. Btw, I am thinking about organizing the next WC, so if you have some spear time, and would like to help me out, pm me. please.
I scouted both mentioned 15yo. Biggest problem on Handball is that players will lose 30% chemistry every year, so unless a player is playing (or at least could be called to gain training bonus) there was little gain to help the upcoming U1x team. So I decided not to call youngsters this season and rotate vet players.
Since we all believe at the end of next season it will have a U1x team, it could be a good idea to call a a couple of new youngsters and let them play on friendlies.
In the other hand, needs to also be aware that Senior would be losing a few players so it is also best to get those who will be replacing some chemistry.
If it is a U19, then it will already have some players with good chemistry: Womack, Russ, Hall and Young

Isn't next year the WC? I would think that you would go for it.
U21 or U19 team will be 6/6 17,16 year olds.

i dont think it necessarily needs to be 6/6 18yo (I assume next season 18 will be eligible)
that because their OR will be more important than quality and CL i think since he will likely only have a season of NT.
Having the best 1st season possible is important for ranking and facing potentially easier teams while the team is being built.
Younger ages Id agree CL and Qualities will be huge factor, not only because they would play at least another season but could potentially be in the U21 team. And teams facilities are getting better ...

It would be nice to know who wants to run for U19 and what "old" players they have in mind so Senior team manager can call a couple of those in preparation for U19. Guess it is time to start the U19 thread.
For the record, Ted Keenan is currently being trained as balanced (so I can play him the entire game for experience purposes without him being a liability), but he's actually more of a defensive player by quality.
Now that I have Rolland Benedict and a few other offensive backs coming along, keenan will probably start to skew a bit more defensive.

Ah gotcha. I saw him playing offensive back and assumed that was where you were putting him
Yep... and I don't know if Rolland Benedict will make the cut for the youth national team, but he's also pretty damn good. He's Universal, 6/6, and has pretty damn good qualities for an offensive back, and even better qualities for an offensive pivot.
Right now I'm training him as a back, because:
1) My offensive backs are pretty shallow
I've been doing balanced training for my "defensive studs" like Derek Carney and Ted Keenan , because I needed them to play offense too.
2) I figure his universal will lend itself better to being a back, than being a pivot.
3) I have a pretty good pivot in Les Horner , that I figured I have a few seasons before I really need to worry about filling the position with a younger guy.
But yeah... now that I've gotten a few more guys that I can play at offensive back, I imagine Carney will be a defensive specialist next season. Keenan will likely still play both ways (for experience reasons), but he'll be training more defensive now I think.
