I think there is a problem with popup window which give you 50 000 money for login when you have PPMe in your browser
Just hit Esc when that gray overlay thinger comes up. It is a one-time deal.
When i go to Players-Overview,turn ppme on, basketball is loading fine but other sports are stuck and i can't see players.
This is being worked. Will be fixed in the near future (top priority!).
Hmm. This is interesting. According to PPMe...the EQ of my basketball players says nearly everyone is a Small Forward...
Sorry...hit enter while trying to change tabs...
According to the EQ metric, I have 1 point guard, 1 shooting guard, 0 power forwards, and 0 centers. Everyone else is a Small Forward. Is this based on current skill levels? Or is based on atty quality? It does not seem to be accounting for height...hard to believe a 209cm player should be a small forward...

This is because of the blocking.
SF counts in the locking attribute, none of the other positions do.
That is default value in PPMe.
I dont think its realistic, or even right, but I am not sure. But it doesant make sense that only SF needs blocking, and none of the other positions count in neither bglocking nor shooting.

In all other sports attributes that should be considered for specific positions are generaly ok, they are set up relativly ok.
But In basketball that thing with shooting and blocking is surely wrong.
And I rally have no idea how to set up each position according to shooting and blocikng.

I will most probably set higher of blo/sho to be '100' and the lower one to '50' or debending on quality. As of now it seems kinda good thing to do... as if there is no value at '100' then it will mess up everything else too. Like if smal forward is set at 50 50 50 50.... it basically is same as training it with 100 100 100 100... it doesn't feel like right thing to do as those values should only be 'medium influence' and not 'very big influence'.
Default settings are there to be changed! The point of PPMe is to implement your own attribute value rating system

It wont, its up to you to change it...unfortunatelly.
True, and I agree on that partially.
What I had hoped for was that PPMe will give me some basic "generaly ok" values for attributes.
Same as in football is generaly ok value to train players in ratios 100,75,50,25. You wont miss by much with those values, but if you want to extract best results you will have to explore, test and tweak it.
Same is in hockey.
So I expected that PPMe ill bring same generalization on training in basketball, so that guxys ho have no idea about it (like myself) can at least get some base line for all the attributes. Unfortunatelly we didnt get that.
Dont get me wrong Scott, I really like this add on, and I have only words of praise for all of you who are working on and around it.
It was just something I expected and dint get. No body anywhere didnt say that will be like that, it was just my expectation based on what I saw on the hockey and football, before it strted to work for basketball too.
I simply expected, or maybe better to say hoped for, a standard baseline for all attributes for every position.
Since I didnt get it, I am trying to find out what ppl think is good baseline to start with. So that I can set it and forget it, since I dont like to deal with those things too much, or better to say at all.
Since basketball as in PPM, is totally out of my world, i have no idea about tactics, offences, defences...any of that stuff, but that is ok, I just wanted a baseline that at least I wouldnt ruin my players too much.
Anyway, same as with football and hockey, with time we will get to that simple baseline, and than Ill use it like that

And on that matter...question for canucks...
is 50 all around the attributes for a player same as 100 all around for that player, or does PPMe has relations between positions when calculating his bussines?
For example, if my SF in PPMe is set all to 50, and my PF is set with some 100, some 75 etc, and in that case both get rating of 200 for their respective positions, when I change in that same example PPMe to be on 100 for SF on all positions, will the rating stay thesame or will it change because its in some way relative to the PF and every other position?
Now that I have written all of that I remembered that I could simply try it...but too much writing, so I dont want to delete it...
Ill go and try it
