Nice its just me then? yay... I'm not sure if my teams practice updated I think it did. Forgot to check it yesterday so no clue though.
Let me start by saying I love the automatic training. Saves a lot of time.
However, I thought that it would look at the attribute value, excluding the practice progress value in brackets, so that it would train a certain attribute until its value is increased by 1. After that I thought automatic training would look at what should be the next attribute to train.
When I look at how my players are actually being trained, it seems that automatic training is actually looking at the attribute value + training progress to determine the attribute to train within the given ratio. I do not think it should work like this. Is there a specific reason why it was designed like this as opposed to how I thought it would work?

It looks at your attributes and trains the attribute furthest away from where it should be.
What many forget is that attributes are not whole numbers. While the practice page rounds them, the actual figures always have .xx after them, so the system looks at the "true" attribute value, not the rounded figure.

yes, but the rounded figure (always rounded down) is taken into account in the actual game calculations.
Yep, but for the auto practice, it looks at the true figure doesn't it? At least, that's how it has been on my testing of it.
I am aware of that, but it I thought that the game engine only looks at whole number attribute value, so excluding the training progress. If that is also a misunderstanding, then the automatic training works perfect.
any chance of have the automatic training look at the same value as game engine? It's not a huge issue, but it is waisting a bit of the players potential ...
It's not wasting the potential at all? The training figure rises the same as it would if you did it manually. If you you have attribute at 50.7 for example and it increases by .8 then it's going to go to 51.5. No waste or loss there.
if a players' training progress is let's say around 0.10 per day and he is training 6 skills, then automatic training needs about 60 days to increase all 6 skills, making the player better only after 60 days.
If the player would train 1 skill until it increases, then every 10 days the player get's a little better.

a player who improves so slowly is pretty useless anyway. but I get the point. Maybe we can change this at some point, but right now, its really a minor issue
It's not a minor issue if you're in a competitive league and want to get the most out of your players.
Easily fixed, will just go back to manual practice and recommend people not to use the auto til it's been looked at.

I agree it's minor and personally I'll keep using automatic training because it saves me time, but it would be nice if it's fixed at some point.
And like trueblue says, going back to manual is a possible workaround.
