OMG !! Been holding my breath since the 1-0 loss yesterday ! The opposing goalie has made the "stars" list in every game against us !! I guess this just means that we have at least been trying. Qualifying round will be just as tough. GO CANADA !!

Lose to Hungary 2-1 at their rink. AGAIN, their goalie gets the first star.?????? What the hell is in THEIR water bottles??

Down 2-0 after the first, the Canadians came storming back to beat favoured French team 3-2 and advance to the final eight.

Congrats to both the U18 and U20 teams for their wins today as well !

A big congratulations to both the Senior and U20 GM's for the big performance at this season's World's! The Canadian contingent continues to slowly shrink in this game and, as always, here is hoping that this trend reverses in such a great, well-designed game! That we can continue to have such solid performances is a testament to the dedication and thinking of those in charge. Sorry to be the weak link in the festivities but sometimes we don't achieve the level of success that we wish to. Best of luck and all the hope for a big win over the Poles tonight and more on Sunday!

Poland 3 Canada 2 in the shootout.
Despite controlling the play 70& of the overtime, we could not put the Polish team away, and we were outscored 1-0 in the shootout.
Once again , the opposing goalie got the first star.
Kudos to him.....he earned it.
Tomorrow.....Germany for the bronze.
