Man, I couldn´t agree more.
Other bothering interaction is the so-called friend that only writes about his selling players. A degree down to the spamming e-mailers though.

Had Money
Bought overrated player 14 mil
Took out loan
Bought another but better player 11 mil (while he was still on market I've paid off loan ?! and took another instantly, don't ask why...)
Constantly buying players
Taxes are killing me now
I will be broke

i just cant bring myself to spend that much for a player. I was kicking myself over the near million i spent on one player last season. although when he scored the series winner in a shootout... he earned every dime.
What can I say - Sport Academy has been mother to some, and stepmother to others, regardless what level of construction they have. I just have to buy players.
You can't find any quality players now below 1million, and those who have quality and good skills are often over 10 millions.

i agree... if i hadnt pulled a 200+ OR player on my last pull (my first) i probably would've spent my money on the market. I have a bad habit of buying prospects. some of whom i've realized will never play for me. But i'm kind of a cheapskate.
Though I have been searching for the "right" player and if i found the right combo of attys and qualities and had the money on hand.... i might just spend that much

HAH I like it! If you look at the new prospects threads every 2 weeks you can see the SA has been a motherf'r to many too!!
With the increased number of teams with near similar levels of TF and SA I think the player market should get pretty interesting by next season. Couple that with more people getting wise to not buying the "1 stat wonders" the training mills churn out it should also change the market considerably... I think.

I have the bad habit of having the money on hand, earmarked for a particular upgrade, and then finding that "must have" player and spending it. Case in point I currently have a bid out for a player with a skillset I've been wanting for a while. The problem is that it's the money set aside for my soon approaching next upgrade for the TF :/

I hope you buy some of them, try to go in rush hours, there will be most people online but then again some players could well pass unnoticed because of crowded market.
I think I'll wait for next wednesday to build something instead.

I have a similar problem, except it's caused by the opposite effect. Whenever I save up any money to try to pay off the $10mil still remaining on my $12mil loan (what's scary is that's only the "Medium" size loan). But of course my TF had just finished building that day, and with $14mil in the bank and a Facility that needed $13mil... you guys know the rest.

I only pay off a loan early if it can make me more money. i.e. I had 7.3, needed 8.2 to build, owed 6.9 on loan, so i payed off loan, took out new loan for 8.7 and was able to build
