Are you still planning on developing your own online database that people can add their players to?

Working on it. I'm not a programmer, so not sure how to best go around that. I do have a friend who is developing a PPM datababse/stats system for me, so might see if i can take just the player table part of that and split it off.

For now we'll just have to rely on a spreadsheet. I've had a look over the one we're using now and want to make some drastic changes to it, but instead am going to create a whole new spreadsheet with a different layout.

The important things we need are a tab for each main position (F, M, D, G) and then have it structured more "clean" so all attributes are together, then Q's are together.

I'm undecided as to whether it needs to contain EOR/EQ as I can work most of that out in my head these days, and different managers calculate those differently.

I've started adding players to the NT and have contacted some managers asking for their players Atty/Quals to fill out the spreadsheet.

The assistant role right now is vacant, and while I do have a preference for the role, that will be filled at some point when i've had time to look at the best person for the role.

Alan & others, i've made some huge changes to the spreadsheet and notice that there are players that have been scouted but are missing attribute numbers. Can you please go through those you have scouted and ensure all the attributes, qualities and CL are input.

Once i get my new spreadsheet up I will share it with everybody. There are some big changes in the sheet, but mainly in the way i lay out the content. I also have custom ratios set for the EQ/EOR figures, as these will vary depending on the person managing the NT. For now I will play the ratios i've found to be the most efficient.

More details to come later.

when you do the spreadsheet make sure those custom ratios are in their own cells and can be changed easily rather than built into the formulas. That way if managers in the future want to change them they can.

Already done. To make things easier i've got ratios for 7 positions. The L/R forward, center forward, L/R midfield, center midfield, L/R defense, center defense and goalie. I was going to make it so each player could have their own ratio, but that just gets too confusing going forward.

What was the wiewpoint by choosing the players in the team? Did you think about that we dont need the best team yet, only in the next season?

Can I watch the database if its ready?
