Howdy fellas,
the season is successfully behind so I thought, I could share secrets of our I.1 league..
.. I took some time to discover how other players of our top Aussie league got names of a soccer team...I reckon, it's good idea to get acquainted with others.. may be quiet interesting to know more about our "SOUL" friends (SOUL = Soccer,Online,Unique,League).. as the imagination of some of u is awesome!
Well, let's get started, shall we???


I guess the top team deserve more attention so I decided to start the way current table is, in order to make sure, I won't offend anyone.

1) Trueblue?
I found it by the accident actually, at my workplace.. The truth is:
TB likes clean and tidiness and he got inspired by the brand of the dispenser for liquid soap!

~ we already know that this team has been renamed by PPM, nothing hidden in here..

3) Colah Creek..
Nearly e1 would guess, it is part of NSW, the Hornsby shire, right?
Nope, the things r not as it seems like.. in fact this guy likes sun, Florida. Original name is Casa Cola Creek, but it would be too long for name of the team.. and as CASA means home in English, he move the H right behind COLA so it's Colah Creek, very closed from the sea, obviously closer than Hornsby shire ((=
.. and on the top of that, there is an airport just a short distance way south so u can bet, he owns the small plane too..

4) Knights?
Not much secrets on this, pretty str8 forward, this bloke loves chess! And obviously he thinks that 'Knight' is the best figurine in it which is fair! U have my full attention,we can play one day..

5) Duval Destroyers
wooow, another very thoughtful name for Aussie, must knew about the ozone layer, may be doctor or so.. aware of skin cancer - Duval = Danger U.V.A. Label and will to destroy the danger of it..

6) Prestige.

Very good and surprisingly close. Colah Creek is actually an anagram of Leech Croak, a small settlement in the Florida Everglades.

As far as I can tell, a few other team names also come from anagrams.

The occasional green-faced scuttling of Barbalicious can be explained by the anagram A Bilious Crab.

And Renamed 36516's indecisiveness about his name is really Meander 61356.

But you'll have to explain to us how FC Kangaroo came from the anagram Focka Organ

I've not seen a lot of their games, but yeah, they're a really good team. They've won the championship twice in recent years (back-to-back).

How has everyones sponsor signings gone?? I am pretty happy got a 4 star general sponsor and a 3 star media sponsor. My general has jumped from 7million to 10million each week so happy with that!!

4 star offer for me.... 6.5m per week general.... 1.5 per week for media...

Got nice deals for general and media. General was $1mil more than last seasons and my media gave me a $7mil jump, so more than pleased

have exactly the same and the most funny is media got 1 star less than last yr still got 1mil extra => 1,7mil,..
.. with general got same stars, only 600k up.. don't get it..
