I totally agree with this

I agree that line instructions and line deployment would both be good improvements to this game. Would be a step forward to even more realistic way and that's good!

It would be nice to have a bonus for certain competitions. We managers could decide which competition (like NC, CWC/CL, League) should be pinned as "top of priorities for this season", and which should be looked as not important. At the beginning of each season we could set goals, and at the end of season bonuses should be paid to the team due to achieved or nearly achieved goals.
It gives more tactical options to game, it would be easy to implement, and I believe it would be interesting.

Not like that. You can set bonuses for wining NC or getting into final, so players would get money if they accomplish something of that. Of course, they will be motivated - will play as a bit stronger team if they are promised high bonuses.

Why ? Rich could concentrate on CL or CWC, medium teams could concentrate on National Cup, and they all could choose from that 2 options and League.
