I'm not surprised that I lost but I am surprised at the score. Same tactics, you had home ice advantage and slightly better lines. I was expecting every game in our series to have at most a 2 goal difference.

That Zack Fontaine kid lit up the Starz, you had some good players on it!
Fontaine is at least a year away from making the team and is likely to be passed on the depth charts by another prospect (Channing MacQueen) in that time.

Ethan Lambert got an assist in Monday's placement game with the Fleur de Lys. The assist made him the 15th player in Patches history to hit 100 career points with the team. He also becomes the first Brit to reach that milestone - significant because fellow Brits Ellis Clark, Darren Betts, and Steven Lormor are hot on his tail with 95, 94, and 90 points respectively. Congrats Ethan!

I always seem to jump the gun on that. This year i sent my team to camp before i even finished the playoffs off with twigstarz. doh! Then the year before that was when i think actually you beat me in the relagation round round when my team was in camp. That sent me back to III.3, double doh.
And to compound the matter, played with the wrong tactics!!

How does the PPM game engine allow this to happen? Did that extra level of importance outweigh my home ice advantage, tactics edge, and overall OTS and team skill edge? Nothing against him, but... sometimes I question this game...

Just sent you my recap of the game, Twig, good scouting and a smart coach, that's all. Don't know if I would look forward to a 3 game series against the Starz. I know I woke you up today, so next game will be a barnburner, come on! Chad's right, I think your G-men were a little flat, I mentioned it in the mail I sent.
Yeah, I know it happens, hockey's like that, it's just one of those things that yeah, really opens my eyes, and kinda makes me wonder about my goalies, but again, coming back Wed. and putting in a solid road game against Beaver Slayers would really bring things back to normal.
And, yeah. I'm glad it's not the playoffs. Xenons showed me last year what I had to do to have an elite team, and ran me off the ice.
