Subject: [Old] Canada Senior NT Discussion

Again we outplayed them everywhere and can't win the game. They even put a goalkeeper in CD who gets rating 7 but still we failed to score the second goal for a win.

WTF? They had 1 single ST and they scored. We had 8 and scored only 1. Our best players should be Todd and our fwds, but they all fail.

It sucks...

That's likely the first and only time Canada would tie Brazil in soccer... if you consider real life

Nothing to add, same as last time, we outplayed them but couldn't score the winner. Just one thing, this was our second line-up.

I noted that. I guess we were lucky that they decided to play low. Be nice if we could catch a break against a quality opponent though...

Pulled the top AQ Canadian player in Canada. 428OR 5/6 L preference. Will scout him but according to the "Top" page he is sitting between 85 and 88 AQ.

Is this a player the NT may be interested in? He'll be training at a TF-14 clip for 3 months then will have TF-15 at his service.

I'm anti CL5 @ 15. Sell him.

Top AQ in Canada. He'll train superbly until 3/6. I know what you're saying. I pulled a couple 85AQs in hockey. One was 4/6 at 17. He still trains top-5 even though he's 4/6.

Even worse news Saudi Arabia beats Finaland and is now 4 points ahead. We need to beat Saudi Arabia next game and the other two games after that but it will still be a questionmark, Saudi Arabia need to lose another one either to Slovakia or Brazil or both. They need to stay below 19 points.
There is also another option as Slovakia seams to strugle with all the draws this season, Uruguay the latest one, so if they draw the next one with Israel or even if they win but lose to Saudi Arabia the last game they would have had 18 points.
Those are all speculations. We need 9 points but I am afraid it might still not be enough, anyway lets get those 9 points and then whine if we don't qualify.

So, looks like we're about done-zo eh?

That's so frustrating. If only we had a clue why we can't score a goal... We have 4 goals, only 3 teams scored less. And we are supposed to have top strikers. o.O
