Man, I was so looking forward to seeing tribal Hydra come down to 2.4, instead they go to 2.1
The competition in II.4 is about to get REALLY tight. A bunch of good teams just got promoted. Making the top 8 isn't going to be a given anymore. I'd like to keep building up my arena/facilities, but I'm gonna need some more quality players to keep competing...
Yep. This is a very good league. I've actually heard of most of the managers here. That's usually not the case. And I can't believe the RED WINGS are still as good as they are. They've already survived two seasons without a manager.
Looking at the Tops in the league, it looks like the Wiggly Pigs should dominate if jimrtex starts logging in regularly. He's got a 141 OTS. Next is jeffrey25's BB All-Stars at 126.

Yeah, I've sold worse for more too. Yeah, he'll end up being a good player if trained right. Just wish I got the lucrative money I saw some mediocre players go for.
Looks like it's going to be a long season for most of us. I know the Orlando, New York, and Buffalo teams will constantly be hunting for better talent causing the rest of us middle teams (Omaha, Rochester, me, Huntington) to have to build our teams up too. How about you guys lay low a season and let us all build up arenas

Actually, other than a need for a 2nd Line USA born RD, I think I'm going to be selling more than buying and building up my arena and prospect pipeline. Of course I say that now before I start losing games.
I was going to say that last line. Same philosophy I had last year until I slipped a couple spots in the rankings and ended up 6th.
...and I got my #2 RHD so I am done. It is a shame I can only watch the Blitzkrieg and Wiggly Pigs beat each other up twice this year in the battle for #1 overall.

As the Red Wings have shown you can coast with a good enough team. As for Freddy, I'm hoping he can anchor my all USA 2nd line. They may not all be mine from the start but I will have some national pride which is my goal for the next year or two. Get some kids coming up and replace all the mercenaries and build the national team.
This might be the year of Burton... finally! I'd say it's a 4 way competition between Burton, Pigs, Boston, and Butter.
side note: your stadium holds 20k and you can only get 5k for our games? Come on, lower the price a little so we can fill that place!! ha ha ha

Well at least no of you can say your goalie is tied for first in team scoring. lol
Ha Ha... but you started the season off with some TOUGH teams there... you will be right in the mix later I'm sure
At least you got the toughies out of the way. You can only go up from here.
