OHHH haha. I looked at hockey game. Heheheh 2-1W in that case

Hmm, I guess we would agree if that's the case - it's not quite realistic.
3 forwards are more dangerous - but the ball must come to them.
If there is shoot on goal - it's impossible that all 3 forwards have influence on that shoot. Should be shooter against defense and goalkeeper.
What could be logical is:
if there is 3 forwards - situations in front of goal are more dangerous comparing with 1 forward (for example> 1 forward would make the shoot from not so promising situation).

well if a team with 2 strikers get 15 shots (5/10) and then a team with 3 strikers get the exact same chanses, it seems wierd that its a bigger chanse to score then, if it is a sum of their shooting not ind shooting the GE is really bad :p
Do not look at players, look at zones. Zones have skills, not players.
But I already think that you know that, just maybe you don;t want to accept it

The problem is that 3 zones really aren't enough.
There should really be 5... defense, midfield defense, midfield, midfield attack and forwards.
In fact, add a 6th for strikers.

I certainly dont want to accept that.
"The kicking technique is also important for a player who plays the corner kick or a cross pass. "
Surely if technique is important for "a" player who plays a cross pass then that players skills is all that should be included. So either the guide is misleading or individuals skills do count.

It counts for such things like penalty, corner, free kick...
Do we get a notification for the cancelled friendlies due to cwc or cl matches being scheduled?
no, we don't get any notifications regarding cancelled matches.
a cross pass is different to a penalty or corner or free kick isnt it.
cross pass could be even a cross from a free kick, but that;s not I'm talking about. Players do have skills, but in engine I think that zones have skills...
Well I didn't say it's not like that - I say it's not realistic
Unfortunately I accept it - but I can't accept that they want change things like that . And there is news about some mayor updates that should make this game realistic.

For me guide is misleading - because there is no individual plays - so no way there could be really a cross from player A with his exactly skills.
But on the other hand - GE calculate how much technique, shoot, pass, speed you have at each zone - so your wingers need technique to make your side zones dangerous - but actually cross will never happened for one certain player in GE.

You say there are no individual plays, but how do you know that to be fact?
