Yeah, I was doing some calculations about a season ago, it turned out that for my facilities and arena at that time it was optimal to have custodians with skill 15-20. It would be a bit higher now but still probably not over 30 or so.
I just did further analysis. My best AC is 28 Maintenance and 22 Security.
Totally agree, I fired my employees because they cost much than they made me save on facilties cost.
Which doesn't make sense for the feasibility of the game IMO.

By "saves you more money" I mean when you train them more and their salary rises the money they save is more than their salary and grows faster than their salary.
I'm carrying ZERO lecturers now. And carrying custodians that maximize my savings when you take their salaries into account. For example, training someone may save me more money in terms of daily expenses but their salary raise would cost more than the extra savings. The key is finding that balance. Your facility levels are different as is your rink - chances are anything over 30% efficiency is not beneficial for you. I had 70+% efficiency and was losing 50k/day compared to if I ran ZERO staff and canned them all.
Canned all the custodians that is. But my best is around 25% each. When I hit that I profit off of them. I'll make 10k/day because of it, or 60k more/day than I was with better staff.
Why? Don't you think PRO users already pay their way and shouldn't have to see advertising? Come on guys, give the PRO people something worth their money in return! Sheesh!
When I had pro i had it set to have a different set of tactics for playoff games, but now even though I don't have pro anymore it is still using a different set of tactics for the playoffs. The planning page has everything set to "default tactics". I'm wondering if I'm messing up with something or if it is a glitch. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Why doesn't succeed2k.com buy some ads? Then you'll be getting your money's worth.
