your VL energy usage is about as quiet as a drunk jersey girl.

That was an odd finish, eh, wahadaha? Perfectly even game until the final 8 minutes. Down 23-24, my boys score 7 of the final 8 goals of the game. Why? I guess I'm just an amazing manager of the handball.
holy cow. The Dopplegangers go down and I'm back in first. This is a crazy season. How many times has #1 fallen so far?

Yep and I helped you sooooo much with my win over Dopplegangers
Yeah... I know. That was a rough game to lose. It's my first home loss of the season. Not to discount BB's play at all (good strategy change at halftime definitely helped hold me off - and it was close), but I can't help feeling like I messed my goalies up (badly) prior to the game.
I made a change in my setup, not really understanding how it would effect time played, and Larkin ended up playing 2/3 of the game even though he struggled in net (compared to his usual performance). I really wonder about this hidden "goalie confidence" stuff, because my save percentage was one of the worst I've had all season (even while my goalie rank moved up to 37 - a season high).
----
As for first place, I actually looked at that a few games back. We've had quite a few first place changes this season, although McGees gets the award (by a long shot) for most weeks in 1st. I'm pretty sure that I've fallen out of first three times now. Every time I work my way up there, I lose the following game and fall back down lol. I wouldn't be shocked to see Quadriplegics up there in a few games, he's got a pretty reasonable schedule the next week or so.
It's definitely a crazy season. Just trying to make it out alive is stressful... forget winning the regular season or playoffs.

Flattered- My goal was to ensure a playoff spot and I think I have succeeded but worst has happened-
I do play 11, 14, 8, 10, 6, 5, 1, 2 in 2 weeks time. Not a cupcake schedule by any means since from 1-10 is an 11pt spread.
ouch. that second week is killer. that's like my schedule coming up. my next 10 days includes 12, 6, 4, 5, 9, 1. So I'll probably be dropping at least a few of those.

Already invested
I know that you ll probably be fuc___ pišed... I made a bid on this Norway superstar 385OR He is also the captain of theyre National team... Just the kinda guy Im looking for since Brian Maxwell is leaving. Oh and the rest I will probably stick into TF RF and HaR...

Lol... nope. I'm not pissed. I just get jealous from time to time. You're dealing in a reality that I can't even imagine (buying and selling players for 62 and 50 million at a time). I mean seriously, that bid you just made is half of my general sponsorship this season lol.
How low are you gonna go in order to get rid of Maxwell? You didn't get any nibbles the first time around...
P.S. I wouldn't be surprised if you actually get some competition for that Norwegian guy.

Nerd I figured his FIP was too high for ya
Do you know when he went 5/6 ??? I would find out.
I have RF10 ,SA11 and TF11 coming up in the next little bit. Skipping HR11 for the time being.

60m for a non scouted 17yo 5/6 is crazy. If he started at 5/6 he has great potential of going 4/6 next season.
id buy your player before buying him.
good luck

Well I lowered the price for Brian by 10m... I got lucky with that pull ( I admit
) About Norwegian guy: I figured out that it doesn t really matter if he is 17 or 15. I mean those guys are best when they re like 20-25. If he has a solid AvQ and yes I checked about the CL he should not drop unless he gets injured.

Per Bulls4ever's comments... the guy is listed on the market for several more days. You probably could've scouted him quick (2 days) before throwing an offer out there on him.
I'm kind of with bulls in that it seems like a lot to pay for a 17 year old, even if he is going to be on the national team for that country for years to come.
I mean, think about it this way, a 15 year old with great Qs will gain anywhere from 70 to 90 points a season at current training rates. So to get a 380 OR 17 year old, you'd only need a 200 to 240 OR 15 year old now.
And you might say, "Yeah... but that's two seasons. Who wants to wait that long for a 380 OR player, who by that time won't be worth anywhere near as much as a 380 OR player is now?"
Ok. Fair question...
But consider that you also just sold a 15 year old with great Qs and high OR for 52 million. Had you just kept him and trained him, he'd be 380 OR in just under 2 months. By the time he was 17, he'd be anywhere from 480 to 520 OR. He'd be better than the player you're looking to buy in probably only a few seasons.
I dunno. It's absolutely your right to spend your money however you want. But that's a lot of money to spend without being absolutely sure that it's going to improve your team in a real way over the long term.
