That's as tough a national cup matchup as anyone will find this year (mcgees could win the whole thing if you ask me).

He sits in first place in our league without his players even breaking a sweat. You know that he has yet to play a single half on anything higher than VL this year?

That's just disheartening lol.

Uff that was a close game today mcgees= defeated.

That makes two of us. Dammit Runny... 1st time all season you start the game with a 5-1 huh?

One thing I'll say about my team though... when they lose, they lose like they mean it. Leave no doubt! No ties for us.

I like how gentle tossers just finished a training facility 10 and they haven't had a manager for weeks...

Hot damn. That was a surprise win over the McGees.

Yeah... battle of the titans. I was curious as to how it was gonna play out.

McGees might have to finally bump up his energy use on some of the better teams (would low really be THAT big a deal?). He's had a rough last 4 games.

The EIC is considered a 'titan'? Neat-o.

Damn. The McGees lost 3 of 4. I agree. It might be time for him to bump the motivation up a bit.

Well I mean... coming into the season, yourself, McGees, Quadriplegics, and Baltic Bradenton were the teams that scared me the most on paper. But your team's roster is definitely particularly intimidating.

Game day after game day, those 4 teams have the highest team ratings in the league. Dooshnozzles has turned it on a bit of late (while still playing with VL energy), so I'm starting to wonder if we'll see him climbing up the standings soon (he's another one with consistently high team ratings week after week).

Having been in the same division as him in season 1 and season 2, I can say that he's definitely not one to take lightly. He's a very good manager, who while appearing sleepy right now, will pull some upsets in the 2nd half (most likely against me lol).

All I can say is I won't feel comfortable until I get 9 more "quality" wins (wins against non-ghost teams). That'll lock me into a playoff spot, and make me breathe soooo much easier.

With sports academies getting ever better... you never know when another team will have a good run of pulls and quickly become incredibly competitive. That's why I didn't want to risk throwing any games away early in the season just to save energy...

P.S. Rivers and Rowen's contracts renew on the same day eh? That's gotta hurt. Can't imagine the damage there is gonna be any less than $5 thousand a day.

You know more about my handball team than I do. I ignore those contract renewal items. But yes, they are on the same day. And it's a 5,200 increase

Not sure that a great pull will have the immediate effect- I have a great team but they have no exp. It hurt me in the NC against Mcgees-

EXp is a valuable quality early on- Im just thinking about the futture

I really haven't been putting any effort into the ole handball team. I started out trying to win, but once I pulled Rivers, I went to a 5-1 D and attacking with the Backs. Then I got Woodall and Draper. I plugged them in at backs, even though it's not their real position, and just rode those three guys since then.

They're good enough for me to win most games, so I stopped trying

Then Woodall got hurt. I scrambled for a bit, but I think when he gets back I'm going to have some fun actually trying to win some games instead of just doing the same thing over and over. The win over the McGees was a nice first step.
